OMG! I just finished watching the first 9 episodes of this and I am hooked! <-< It was my first Japanese drama. And I love it. It's just such and excellent story. I ended up downloading the first 9 episodes( ) and can't find anymore, so I was wondering if you guys could tell me where I can buy the Region 2 DVDs or a place to download the rest of it.
BTW, just how many episodes of this are there? _________________

Good question, I watched the series but didn't keep track.

There's a total of 11 episodes. Currently there are several versions of the subbed episodes floating around. One 'Engrish' version which you could d/l off d-addicts and the DVD version currently being subbed by J-TV. You'll just have to wait patiently for the better version as they are now up to episode 9 only.

Yeah, I agree with Arwenna. I could deal with the existing bad subtitles as I speak a little nihongo and chugokugo.
Gosh, that is such punishment... I can't imagine going that far into a series and having to wait indefinitely to see how the story ends. It would drive me bonkers!

Hai, I only know some nihongo >-< And I got the 9 I have from J-TV, so I guess I could wait....but I'll be like a little schoolgirl(so to speak) when they get the others out. Arigatou Arwenna. And yes, it will drive me bonkers, but it'll be WELL worth the wait. _________________

It's better now that they have 9 episodes and churning them out pretty fast too. Imagine i had to wait months for the first few episodes with the 'engrish' version when FOB first started subbing them.... it was a pain...

Mochiron!!!! Most definitely!!! Any Kimura Takuya dorama is a good starter. There are lots more doramas that are really good too, you just need to check the recommendations page.

Yep, Pride is a great show.
But if I were you, I'd recommend watching some of the older classics next.
Love Generation
Long Vacation
Beautiful Life
Under One Roof
Etc... etc.
