I really liked the episode with his mother. How much he loves her and she lets him down and in the end he is happily waving her goodbye just for her. Really good acting.

At first I also found it SO heartless of Aki to run over to that other guy... but I did get to like him (the other guy) a bit better after a while. Guess I shouldn't say too much about him cause I don't wanna spoil it

So U gals were talking behind my back last nite......GrapeFruit!!
See so U understand why i chose it as my nick now....
Halu loves it....right from episode one.....in the interview for documentary when they ask him why he like hockey....
He said my answer will be " i like Grape fruit"

Grapefruit is featured in another scene.....when 3 of the team mates were retrenched....do U gals remembered that scene.....and he sorta bashed this guy...and then he went off...and of course Aki went along.
They went to the fast food place where he ordered i think beef steak with a large portion of rice and a glass of grapefruit juice.
This scene was soooo funny tooo!! She was soooo angry and she din wanna order....and she said disappointed and that sounded like "curry" so he tried to order "curry rice" for her but she refused....and then she went off.....and had to come back again 'cos she din bring her purse...
Halu.....expressions was sooooooo great....then wanting to laugh...and holding himself back.....
That's what mades me fall soooo hard for TK!!

haha anyway for all those PRIDE-ians suffering from the painful episodes at the moment, dun worry too much as the show has a really good ending. And its not just something nice that the producer slapped onto the series at the end, personally i felt it was very apt and all the past events were perfect in leading up to it.

But do bear in mind its gonna get more painful next:P for both kimutaku and yuko-chan's fans. Lol i remember how my heart ache like mad watching those episode.

my friend gave me this copy which explain alot of the Japanese terminologies....'cos U know how various culture uses their words differently.....and the footnote was that it is curry. That was why Halu deliberately mistaken her that she wanted to order curry rice....but of course Aki put her feet down and show her disappointment to him about the way he handle the situation back at "Face Off".

i agree with U about the ending!!
And i think it is a beautiful ending.....i love it!!!

lol i realize as we talked about scenes we love from the show, it seems like almost every scenes is someone's fave:P goes to show how good the show is.

anyway when i started watching Pride, the "dark shadow" of another show by kimutaku, Beautiful Life was looming at the back of my head, and i was like praying ahrd for a good ending. phew

dashx.....u are right about loving almost every scene....with TK in it of course!!
i am of course not the best person to say this .....'cos this is my 1st ever Japanese Drama in VCD that.....but i love those quick wit scene between the leads.....like during the 1st date....when he came and pick her up ....and then he said that he suspect she has a bf...and she said : a bf who may or may not exist....and dialogue of Pride is just soooo good!!
i laugh my head out when she asked where are they going....and Halu said: Love Hotel...

I liked it when the little boy of Ryoko's rebutted him when he cooked lunch for them both.

"How does it taste? Good?"

Then he said.Baka...which i suppose is a bad word...and the little boy mimic him....and Halu had that look of guilt/shock...

i like the boy when he imitates Halu.. especially when Halu says "Maybe" then the boy will say it also.. hahaha! so cute...

btw, baka is not a bad word... it means stupid, idiot or silly fool in Japanese... it seems so funny when he say it ... haha... nice job there ..!!
