the comments and review about Engine wasnt really that good. Think a better kimutaku's show would be Good Luck.
saw the ending again on Channel U just.Sigh was thinking what would be the story like for the next blockbuster and who would be in it. well anyway maybe after the exams period, we hold the Drama-thon we talked about earlier. maybe vote for 1 good drama to watch or if we ambitious we do 2 dramas in a row _________________

can anyone help me with what the other side theme is?
no lyrics, just music
its a pretty common piece but not always used to great effect
in pride, however, it goes fantastically with the romance of haru and aki
think maybe it was used before in the 1995 (4?) tokyo cinderella also as a side theme song, but the tempo and instruments differ here. is it the same piece?
Im not sure of how u all feel about ENGINE, but people i know have given it very good comments!! They said it's much better than pride.
Hmm i heard it's a show that involves kids and is quite touching.

Was it a string piece or was it a keyboard type of piece?
With regards to Engine, I heard some comments that the romance between Koyuki and KimuTaku didn't seem to quite mix...

Can briefly tell me what happen in that last 15 mins? Because I dont know how to use bit torrent.
Hey people, I expected alot of hype after the last episode of pride ended yesterday! Where did you people go?
Channel U did cut quite a number of scenes from the last episode. There was this scene before Halu left for cananda and sakaguchi(what's his name in the show?) was in halu's house helping him pack. They talk about not asking aki to wait for halu. and halu said maybe he would be able to get a caucasian girlfriend. i thought that was quite funny ..
Just wondering, how did you all feel about the ending?
eversenses:
wad! they cut away so much! sheesh. that's sadd. but anywae. i LOVE the ending. thought it was quite romantic. and his hairstyle at the end was alright too. though i think i might prefer it in the earlier part of the show..
i heard quite a few comments on engine.. mostly saying that the pairing in the show was not good. and that the 2 leads din have enough chemistry to start with. but i do hope their story line can help make it a better show..
dashx:
yes!! hmm... i think i would vote for.. good luck? actually im also not very sure. cos i still dont know which of takuya's shows are the best.. but anywae. i do prefer happy endings though. thanks for your suggestion! and the next j-dorama they are showing is freaky in my opinion.. i dont wanna watch it. think i'll get nightmares. haha _________________

lol Trick is a very good show! Don't be fooled by the freaky content, the show its actually about Yuki Nakama and Abe-san going around exposing supernatural scams and hoax. Altho I not too sure if Trick 3 is good or not the first series was very well-receive if i rem correctly.
anyway the ending is definitely very good.. one of the few endings around that wraps out a show neatly without being corny or abrupt or in tragedy:p. Yoz junn, if you can stand teary ending you should skip Beautiful Life (Kimutaku & Tokiwa Takako), altho it is one of the top show around. _________________

hmm.. i have watched Engine,, i tot it was a nice drama.. perhaps it's slightly a different type of story setting from his usual doramas.... and there's not much of emphasis on the male-female-leads love story. that's why we may not be used to it... but i quite like it.... maybe becos takuya is in it... hahaz.. as usual....
well, Pride ended.... it's just a very-nice dorama.!!... halu is great! haha. anyway, regarding the cut in scenes.. i got one grumble though.. there's a part that shows the light aki gave halu for a brief second.... it should be quite like 5 minutes for that scene... what we are supposed to see is that the bulb is removed from the light... the one aki wrote "Maybe... Love You".. argh...... they cut that off.. I think Halu removed that bulb and brought it with him before he left Japan for the training... in addition, you know what...? there's this scene where Halu picked himself up in the ice-rink after supposedly knocked down? he was supposed to see the Ice Goddess (which i think is Aki) under the ice... and CUT! U never see that... but never mind.... i still like Pride.... Must be!!!!
it has firmly grounded takuya in me just like his other doramas..... muhaha...
dear kyuubi ... can u tell me what's in those 15mins?
thanks!

on going through the posts on pride, it seems there are quite a large number of cuts. no wonder the drama seems pretty disjointed in parts. i remember thinking in the light bulb scene, one minute haru is looking at the bulb and sees the words (very significant moment) and the next minute he has his head up against the wall.
think cuts shouldn't be made willy nilly like that, not that its anything major. but i did enjoy a good watch with pride and was glad to see kimura maintain his high standards even after years in the industry. surely the guy has substance.
anyway, its over and even if ch u ever replays the drama, the cuts will still be there. so if anybody has the time and can share on the cut scenes they have personally seen, it'd be great if you could list the missing scenes here, i'm interested to thread for myself the missing pieces to get a better overall feel of the drama.
thank you very much.
