Hello, I'm a total noob to this thread. I just started watching Pride and I love it. The Queen soundtrack cracks me up. The use of "Fat bottom girls" in the first episode was hilarious.
Gah, I can't wait til my streamload account renews so I can dl more.
hello! could I request for Queen's Somebody to love MP3?
if Im not wrong that was the background song for the scene where Halu and friends talked about Aki in the stands.. saying she was a woman from the past and then the match starts, Aki calls out to Halu and he turned to smile at her... anybody please?

hey.. At last 'O's over! Where are all you people?
starting to watch pride and all my japanese dramas again..
and wanting to learn japanese so that i can understand the dialogues better.. haha.. yupp.. so looking around for courses in beginner Japanese now.. they are either very expensive or the schedule wun fit when school starts in Jan. sigh..
halu is mesmerizing me with all his charm again.. haha
side-track, i wonder if white tower and last crhistmas on channel u is good.
The holidays have just started (well, at least for me and those just finished Os). so enjoy~!
I had recently watch PRIDE and I'm so totally for it. It was such a good drama and I can't stop watching it...everything about it was special. I just wish that there were more scenes between Halu and Aki. They are so cute together and there are so much chemistry between them. I really hope that they can be in another drama in the future....
before I know anything about that...I really wish that they are dating or something but I found out that Kimura is married and have 2 girls and that Yuko was just married recently and pregnant...I was like...nevermind but anyway, I love PRIDE...maybe...MUST BE
oh, can someone post me the link to the site with PRDE screencaps...it was post in some page but I can't find it anymore!

OMG WHEN HE GAVE HER THE TOOTH! That cracked me up and grossed me out. I mean, what the hell is she gonna do with that? Aww I love Kenji Sakaguchi's character, I love the way he and Aki get along. I'd rather him love her instead of the gold-digger. The part on the bridge, where Haru leaves Aki because he thinks she just likes him because of hockey...

I'm already on ep07!!!! I <3 Kimura Takuya!! He's so hot for his age, it's not right.. although if I may say so myself.. he's way hotter in Engine.. BUt i love pride because compared to Engine.. you see a different side of Kimutaku..
well.. he's really versatile anyways.. but doesn't change the fact.. I <3 him!!!!

Yeeees Ma'am! I actually started this series about a month ago. But I put it on hiatus cuz i couldn't dl anymore from my streamload account and I have like about a billion other dramas I'm watching simulateneously.
I have yet to watch Engine. I'll put that on my "things I have to watch" list. Yes, Kimura is ridiculously hot for his age. I have no idea how he does it, but I don't really care as long as he keeps at it.

i didn't actually, but did you ever read the article that i posted about how during the film of pride some ppl allege that he kept fuggin' up the kissing scenes with yuko takeuchi so he could keep get his mac on? hahaha read on sista

Butchered kisses give man-eating Yuko taste of success
Yuko whispered to display more than acting talents.Yuko Takeuchi is currently Japan's hottest female star, Asahi Geino (12/30-1/6) says. With her girl-next-door looks, Takeuchi has managed to hold her own in performances alongside some of the country's biggest names and, in the process, joined their ranks herself.
A platoon of some of Japan's biggest hunks are rumored to be smitten by the 24-year-old actress, but also being whispered about is a huge project where Yuko could reveal more of her skills than she's shown in her brief career to date.
Takeuchi first attracted notice back in 2002 when it was learned that the then largely unknown was supposedly leaving a trail of much older men in her wake. Among them was heartthrob Takaya Kamikawa, with whom Takeuchi was virtually shacked up with until they broke off about a year ago.
News of their relationship, though, gave Takeuchi her first big break and has since led to collaborations with a handful of Japan's other A-list actors, like Takuya Kimura, who was her co-star in the TV drama "Pride."
"Kimtaku botched his kiss scenes with Takeuchi countless times, forcing re-take after re-take," a TV guide reporter tells Asahi Geino. "He messed up so many times, some people thought he was doing it on purpose."
Multi-talented kabuki actor Shido Nakamura is also apparently besotted with Takeuchi after appearing with her in a movie and reportedly sends her piles of text messages daily.
But Takeuchi's appeal stretches further than just her male co-stars, explaining the inordinate amount of interest in the rumors of a grand plan in the works.
"Work is going ahead on a huge project incorporating publishers, TV and movies," a TV industry insider tells Asahi Geino. "Takeuchi is going to appear in the TV dramatization of one of the publisher's novels, then later appear in the big screen depiction of the book."
The project's interest comes, however, because of whispers that Takeuchi will be displaying more than her acting talents if the project goes ahead.
"I don't think it will be possible on TV, but when the book dramatization makes it to the movies, Takeuchi may do her first nude scenes. Takeuchi's always been the type who's prepared to strip off in the name of giving a real performance," a movie business source says. "Don't forget, (queen of squeaky clean) Takako Tokiwa stripped off for raunchy sex scenes when she appeared in a Hong Kong-made movie and she's got the same handlers as Takeuchi. Misaki Ito (a Takeuchi contemporary) has also attracted rave reviews for her steamy performance in the movie 'Umineko,' which will give Takeuchi food for thought."
One source says the multi-media project is set to get underway from July next year, but the rising star's handlers are bearish.
"We've been given a wide variety of projects to talk about," a spokesman from Takeuchi's talent agency tells Asahi Geino. "But we've heard nothing like a project of this magnitude."
