Im reading some book thats full of short stories,
its actually more of a sort of study guide i guess...
to help me practice different critical theory techniques ,
and stuff like that.
i thought it'd be really boring, but its kinda fun and interesting
i need my friend "the man " though.
he was an english major too, and he is feakin smart
im currently reading the old classics COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO
inspired by watching Gankutsuou
which was also based on the book
haven't read the book, but i heard it is good and very very long. I saw the movie, i enjoyed the movie, probably only a very small part of the book, but not sure how closely it followed the novel.
i am reading a personal finance type book.

Just finished 47 Ronin and Musashi. Then I watched Chushingura and was disappointed by the artistic license taken. I've watched 13 episodes of Musashi NHK and I don't even recognize the characters or plot. _________________

I'm actually reading two other books in addition to the following (information I'm sharing as I find myself absorbing the material unusually well considering that I'm reading selections during the commercial breaks -- with "mute" on, of course -- of the NCAA tourney going on now):
The Rise of Modern Mythology: 1680-1860, Professor Burton Feldman and Robert D. Richardson, Jr., eds.

My sister has that.
I'm also reading "The Big Fat Kill" by Frank Miller. It's a graphic novel from the Sin City universe. I think it's one of the stories that made it into the movie. Damn...it looks cool too. _________________
