I haven't read anything new in about 2 months....haven't found anything that says read-me! in English. Am still reading the novelized version of "Kagen no Tsuki" by Yazawa Ai--it's kiddie love for all ages! And the really good High School romance "Parfait-chikku" (pafechikku).

I want to read The Da Vinci Code...has anyone read it and would recommend it?

Can't say that I've read it, but the book seems to have stirred a lot of discussion... I think even some members of the Vatican voiced their opinions...

And there's the FujiTV series about it starring Ryoko-chan and Naohito Fujiki: http://www.fujitv.co.jp/davinci/index2.html

I'm on my second read-through "Godel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid". Truly an amazing book!

Yub, and it's pretty heavy. I actually had to order the English version since all German versions I've found on Amazon weren't the complete editions, and that... I don't want. I want the whole thing.

I still fondly remember reading that during the summer Musashi was one KTSF...every evening from 10pm to 12am.

Yeah, after about ten episodes of watching Musashi, I picked up the book and finished it by episode 25... Smile

I think I started reading it before it came out on KTSF...it was a gift from my sister, who saw it at a used book shop and thought it looked cool. Then I saw the previews for Musashi and thought "I better start reading this." I don't remember what episode I finished it by...I know it was before half the series was over.

Usually for me, it's the other way around, and then I'm usually dissapointed by the movie Puppy Dog Eyes . Of course, I think I probably read too much sometimes.... ashamed
