also reading a C++ book and trying to teach myself how to program. this was NOT my idea... grrr. oh well. i knew i wasnt a programmer from the start but its a useful skill... yea... |
my ex-gf could read almost an entire book in one day, while it would take me weeks if not months to finish one. I am still reading Salaryman's wife - Sujata Massay (mystery novel), and it has been over a month, but i am one quarter finished so far.
I am also studying japanese grammar/workbook/kana characaters

haha i sure hope ur ex-gf reads the HP books in a day and not the C++ book im also reading!! yea i read both 1 and 2 in a day each... im a pretty fast reader and the first two were short... but now i need to spend more time doing C++ (what am i doing on jdorama.com, you ask? i do not know)... and so less time for reading for fun. but my goal is to finish all six harry potter books by next week!
ooooh good book? i need to study some japanese too... mmm... but programming...
also reading thru emails right now |
wow, you are super fast reader, 6 harry potter books by next week!
C++, sounds very complicated and
yeah study japanese can be fun, but challenging.

i do have two books on learning japanese!! and i brought them home w/me... i really need to get my act started. ur good, uve been at it for awhile now, yea? the only things i know are from the doramas i watch, hahahaa |
what japanese learning books did you buy?
i bought one on japanese character writing, Hiragana/Katakana
one on gramar, and i just bought another one that is a workbook and is a little easier than the grammar one i bought.
1 book a day! , i would be lucky if i finished in a couple of weeks, or a month.

haha a friend of mine bought an "easy japanese" book for me, thats not the "typical" way to learn japanese... i actually havent gotten past chapter 2... its written by a non-japanese person and doesnt go into writing at ALL...
and then i got another book thats just a beginning japanese book which is like mini lessons... and i do wanna learn katakana and hiragana... and this book has it so... i just hafta build up my vocab and learn how to write some stuff....
hahaha!! well they do get addicting as mixxdreamer says.. very addicting! mixxdreamer i love your avi btw... thats a great pic, hehe! yakitate...!! i need to catch up on the last two epis i think!! ah oops off topic |
there are so many learning books on japanese...
i find help to put on cue cards, the hiragana characters, i am trying to memorize some of them...
yeah, a book can be hard to put down, once addicted...
