**Disclaimer: I do love my job, don't get me wrong. It's a really good feeling being able to interact and learn with and from different people. some days are actually pretty hilarious, since I have no idea what type of insane rich dood I'll be dealing with next .
no disclaimer needed, unless your bosses come here as well. but even still they wouldn't know from your user name, right? BTW, i think there are more finance people here than the IT field, just MHO.

hehe... good point. Thing is though, since I have a series 7 license, one of the investment principals at my company put it best -> if you poop, the SEC wants to know when, how big, and what it smells like - so it's better safe than sorry...
Everybody loves their job that's good to hear it. I used to love my job but lately I just got sick with it.

Basically, I have two jobs under one roof. My title (pay's decent) and the suit means squat though, all I am is a glorified bank teller. Except I have to do more sucking up, and what's worse, I make more money for someone else than I do for myself! *grrrrrr....* To top it off, the market area manager and the region president know me by name... which has its advantages and disadvantages
Banking business eh? I've dealt with bankers..they're such a crook But the worse is Businessman those conglomerates type...
Those are the one that making me stress!!!! But hey at the end of the day..if they pay the bill I make my living. Still, I have no ambition to be a rain maker. Just want to lead a happy life.
I love my job! (although it's temporary) It's the people who works with me that ruins it! They're all acting like a bunch of babies! I have 2 co-workers who are at each other's throat because one got promoted...the other one feels that she should have gotten the position...blah blah blah (long story)...and all they do is talk smack about each other...trying to put me in the middle. They're both my friends, and I'm not on anyone's side. I think this is ridiculous and should definitely stop! Feels like highschool all over. If they want to get each other fired...FINE...just don't put me in the middle...cause frankly, I don't care.
On the other hand, I love my job ...cause we don't have supervisors/managers always on our back, telling us what to do. We all know what needs to get done...so we take the initiative to do them. And if there's nothing to do...we just chill...and do crossword puzzle! hehe

Ughhh... don't know it ... I am definitely insane for doing this. I'm trying to get out of the banking side altogether and just stick with investments. I have an interview later today with another firm , so wish me luck guys! I'll need all the help I can get.

not really crazy, but if it's something you really like doing, why not? I'd like to get out of the IT field and go into investments, too, but I wouldn't even know where to begin. Good luck and i hope your interviewer(s) is/are in a hiring mood! _________________

Not to steal anything away from Clerks, but, tell me you can name one single project manager who had undergone more stress than Imperial officer Moff Jerjerrod after being given the "Then perhaps you can tell him when he arrives . . . The Emperor is not as forgiving as I am" admonishment by Vader.
school is the best. ask any working person. most of them will tell you school days are the best.
to me... why work?!?!?!?!! who in the right mind invented that crap.
Totally Agree on that. I went to work right after I graduated from University and then couple of years later I got bored from work so I decided to go to Graduate School.and got graduated...now I'm back on my work again..thinking who would want to finance me to go to Grad School again?! ...

You forgot one thing woman...when you work you become a zombie too..you are a slave to the capitalism. AND...if you sitting around in front of the computer or just sitting before your desk you will also likely to have a FAT ASS!!
