Still job hunting, this is getting really difficult and scary.....
Next week and the week after, I have to get up at the @$$crack of dawn and commute to take case worker and social worker exams in an attempt to find a job through the civil service commission in my state. Who knows how long this process will be if I pass, which positions are open in the counties I'm hoping for, nor what the hell is on this test

You shouldn't worry too much: remember how worried you were about your car's tranny, and it didn't turn out so bad?

hey, AC, i read something about LV in the morning newspaper the other day. i didn't want to post it here, depending on how you felt about it. but i hope you won't be substantially affected by it.
Thanks to you and The Man, I was able to find out the contents in the article.
To answer your question, yes I am aware of the restructuring of the company and it's affiliates. As far as I know, sales associates will not be affected. People in admin will be, however.
But we'll see what happens. Never know. NO job is secure. _________________

stupid tastey ice cream :grumble:
lol - what's wrong with ice cream? Anyways, I used to work in the library while in university, but it was volunteer work and I kind of got bored of it. Out of the rhythm, and not enough rewards, apparently. Plus, it was strange to see someone much younger than them sorting out books and telling them what to do also. Oh well - university life is cool though. C'est la vie.

Achh.... Anyone paying a lot for taxes this year! I just ordered custom made furniture (expensive) because I figured I get a lot back for tax returns and I found out that I'll be paying a lot.

Ouch.
That must suck.
Scary desu.
I've no idea myself on how much I'd be paying or getting back this year.
It was this past year where I took on three other jobs aside from my full time one. I've been claiming 0 on everyone of them, so I hope that I'll still be getting back this year. If I have to pay, it'll be the first time ever, plus it'll suck royal balls. _________________

I'm scheduled to go into work early to escort a client to a dentist appointment at which she'll be anesthetized. Weather calls for bad snow Just when I was gonna get almost 2 hours extra pay, I might have to call out if I can't commute 20 miles in the snow. Although, I'm more worried about getting home late at night when I would get off

Want some rain in Washington State too ? I was on my way back from dinner with a Taiwanese and Japanese students, I was feeling happy and loved, and then all hell broke loose with the rain on my way between Rohnert Park and Santa Rosa. I swear, that must have been the whole Pacific Ocean coming down! _________________

lol - heck no! **Shoves a truckload of cookies down Tang's House** There, now you can get fat again. Mwahaha. Besides, I wonder how many guys and girls behind the computer screen are fat these days? I'm not one of them. Hehe.

You are missing one vital point. Taking Pictures of Beautiful Models.
Cute girls find nothing wrong with that. Showcases our beauty, in a non-disrespectful way of course. lol

So is SoCal looking better now, K?
LOL, I dunno
Anyway, due to everyone freaking out on impending snow, my client's appointment was cancelled I just talked to my boss and she said if I can't come in she at least knows why. I told her I would try to come in for at least part of my shift though. So far it's not snowing yet
