Hi everyone, this is doinkies...anyone remember doinkies? XD
Anyway, w3bhead, could you make me an animated .gif sig from Attention Please! too? XD Preferably any scene in the ending sequence of Aya wearing her regular uniform (not the 50s one). For text, please put "L-O-V-E Lovely Aya" on the left of the picture. Thanks ^^

More info on the new Aya drama (though nothing has been confirmed)
Air time: Wednesdays at 9pm
Network: TV Asahi
Ttitle: Shimokita Sundays
Cast: Ueto Aya, etc.
Director: Yukihiko Tsutsumi
Original Work: Ishida Ira
Theme song: Shimokita ijou Harajiku miman / Fujii Fumiya (nooo! )
Hope this is true (except for the theme song part ) but Aya should really take a break soon, two consecutive dramas must be hard
Another drama this summer, wow. But you're right. It will be stressful to have another drama following AP immediately. I guess she should take at least a few weeks off before she starts taping for her next drama.

If this does end up happening.....then for the fall season she won't be doing any dramas unless its what one episode stuff....to keep appearing in stuff but won't be much on her schedule
Probably after that drama she'll work on her music and TV appearances.
*hoping she appears on Matthew's Best Hit again or on IQ Sapuri* _________________

Ah, a new drama, always good to hear.
Okay, I'm been a-Googling, but there's very little info. As far as I can tell 'Shimokita Sundays' started off as a 'One-Shot Story' published in the glossy coffee table bimonthly mook 'papyrus' (http://www.g-papyrus.jp/). It seemed to prove popular, so they were a number of sequels in the following issues. There have been three or four stories so far (difficult to tell lol).
The author, Ishida Ira, was also responsible for the source material for 'Ikebukuro West Gate Park', which if you're been watching the SARS release you know is gangsta drama par excellence Nihonjin-style, and something I don't know called 'Big Monday!' (http://jdorama.com/drama.627.htm).
The director, Yukihiko Tsutsumi, has directed loads of stuff, including 'Ikebukuro West Gate Park', 'Stand Up!!', 'TRICK' and 'Sekai no chuushin de, ai wo sakebu'.
Sounding good already. From the creative staff list, it sounds like this might pretty dark, gritty stuff. Which would be nice

Nice researching Phinn senpai
I've been watching the IWGP that SARS is doing and I think the drama is quite intense.
The Director did all that. Damn....he got good resume
Dark huh......would be such a big Jump for us Aya fans after watching Attention Please Do you think it'll feel a little dark or so like KKK 2003?? if you consider that one dark, _________________
