Well, I doubt jinzo has really no space on the wall But I guess he can't find a proper place for the calendar. A safe place away from dust, cooking sauce, cooking smells in all kinds etc. Though Aya likes ... ADORES food like all of us (please, make an exception for natto ), I doubt her portrait would love lots of food steam.
Or maybe he hasn't found how to avoid using sticky tape yet...

Hm no, I don't have more Free time. Since I received that calendar, I sort of feel more ALIVE ! . Man , Aya has a lot of charm ! When I think I said a while back ago "I don't care" ......... . Guess I'm just a bit excited and want to share this excitement with you guys.
Well I should just go back in my room. The cupboard with the calendar inside is actually immediately behind me when I study. So that I don't quit my room anymore . And there's nothing to do in my room except studying. Loool studying with Aya watching over you ... this is just the best coaching ever Let me tell you how it works ... Actually it doesn't feel odd when I am concentrated, but it does have a big influence when I wanna quit my desk : "Oops there's Aya looking at me Don't don't don't look !!!!!!! Back back back turn your head back" And so I stay sat down on my chair Believe it or not, Aya is so DEADLY beautiful on these BIG pictures that I can't , I don't dare looking at it more than 2 seconds Because if I look more, I FEEL SO WIERD FREEFAAAAALLLLLLL
To be frank Freefall-sama , the only reason why I am on the computer right now, is to see my avatar one more time.
edit : yeah I just got back home. I haven't gone on my room yet. Jeat ate something and came to the computer. If I had passed by my room, you wouldn't see me here by now... NOT AT ALL !
hehe, I think it�Ls a good think that the cupboard is BEHIND you. It could be quite distracting with the Aya calendar inside if you saw it in front of you all the time when you try to study. Well, it could be worse; you could have gotten yourself the desktop version

Truthfully, I can only understand maybe 15 to 30 percent of what's being said so I would be a poor candidate to translate for the rest of you...it wouldn't be a faithful tranlsation of japanese. I can only pick out certain phrases and sentances here and there so I get a basic understanding of parts of the conversation.

I can only pick out certain phrases and sentances here and there so I get a basic understanding of parts of the conversation.
I see. Well, I think understanding 30% is sometimes enough to follow a converstation. But not enough for a translation, of course.
But still mich better than my j-knowlege. Maybe 0.3%. And I just don�Lt have the time to stay on learning because of too much work

I understand what you're saying....well there was a part in the conversation where they ask Aya about what she cooked at home recently and she thinks and answers
"stew."
The reporter then asks her who she ate the meal with...and she answers with her older brother, her mom, and her older brother's girlfriend. Then another reporter asks what about her boyfriend...and she says she don't speak to me about that/don't ask me about that please (and laughs)

Hm, find a large transparent folder, put the calendar inside, and hang up the folder on the wall with sticky tape ... or litterally hang up the folder in the ceiling.

Ueto Aya's new drama "Abarenbo Mama" does't have good "Audience rating" and her previous dramas are even worse, so people called her "Low-Rating Queen". Some said because of heavy work, she and Morita got separated and she even wanted to retire.
Someone said Aya-chan does not get any holiday since her debut and Oscar Promotion assigned her lots of work but did not pay her well. Therefore she complains a lot. Because of that she doesn't have enough time dating; only mails. Even so, she's not getting any replies.
She has so many dramas but the representative ones are only a few. Therefore, her market is shrinking.
Director ����� invited her to be the main character in his new CG movie, but Oscar Pro. said it doesn't fit into her schedule and rejected. This is not as usual that she always accepts any work. So, some rumors said she might retire temporary.

But, to be honest, it doen�Lt surprise me much. She said before that she wants to quit in her mid twenties to live a "normal life," marry, get children. Family is very important to Aya chan and I think she doesn�Lt want to miss part that in her life because she was working before and didn�Lt had the time. I with Aya all the best in her life and that she will always be happy. So if she doesn�Lt want to be a star anymore she should quit! Of course that�Ls be a hard blow for me (and all of her fans) but I wouldn�Lt want her to fake her smile!!!
That her latest doramas had low ratings is a known fact. But I think it�Ls not Aya to blame but Oscar. To be honest I feel a bit the same. I really had to force me to finish watching Hotelier :-(
But still I�Lm looking forward to Abarenbo Mama. I haven�Lt seen it till now but it looks promising!
I think Aya became so popular because she was something special. She had good doramas with strong characters like in Kinpachi sensei, for example. Her photos in mags were all very good and well made. Outdoor shoots, funny and interesting outfits and locations. But nowadays it all became bog-standard. The photoshootings in mags are all OK, don�Lt get me wrong, but they are all nothing special and there is barely any "Wow" effect anymore. Most are just "standart" studio fashion shoots.
I think the problem is, that she isn�Lt that "special" anymore. The photos, the doramas. She became popular because of the tomboy look, for example. Jeans, t-shirt, leather jacket. Today she wears standart girl�Ls fashion most of the time. I think that might be Aya�Ls own decision too, of course. She was still young back then and it�Ls only normal that she changed over the past yeras. Today she might prefer a more girlish look. But I think, especially the older fans, do miss that old Aya�Ls look, her doramas AND her (more rockier) music from back then. Maybe that�Ls the reason why she seems to loose many "fans" (I was noticing that, at JDorama for example over the past year, too. We used to have lots of active members. Maybe 20 members posting several times the day. Today it�Ls only maybe 3
I think the main problem is that people are a bit glutted with Aya. She is in tons of mags every month, she does 3 doramas the year and is in lots of shows. Oscar wants to make money with Aya and they think the more she does the more they can sell and earn. That�Ls a fact, of course. And totally normal in the entertainment industry. But on the other hand that might also cause fans to get glutted and loose interest because there isn�Lt anything "special" anymore. Nothing they can look forward to or to be happy that they see their idol in a new mag.
I think the best for Aya and her fans would be if she�Ls gear down. More quality than quantity! Only one dorama the year and maybe 1/3 as many TV or mag appearances than today. Then Aya would have more time for friends and family, could to a vacation, load up the batteries and so...
And I think she�Ld still earn enough money even if she wouldn�Lt work as much anymore than now. It�Ls no use if she overworks herself. But I think this idea unfortunately can�Lt and won�Lt work in japanese entertainment industry and for Aya anymore
I don�Lt know how true these news really are. Maybe they are exaggerated again. But I�Lm sure there is truth in it.
Aya works way too much, for sure. And that her doramas and CDs weren�Lt selling as good as the older ones is a fact, too.
It makes me sad to think Aya is working that much like now, isn�Lt happy with it, and still gets bad ratings after all. If this continues she will sure burn out and quit some day

Hmm.. bad news indeed.
Quite frankly I really don't know what to say. I'm sad because if Aya retires it would be a great loss, but I also understand her feelings in being unhappy, not having time to do the things she wants because her management is always filling up her schedule.
I agree that her doramas are not good. After Attention Please, Hotelier was worse, Abarenbo Mama is ok (so far). I agree with Free saying that her pics now are a bit losing their "wow factor". It's very disheartening that OSCAR made Aya a cash cow and did not look at the big picture. Maybe they were thinking they should sell out Aya while she was still hot (popular). Making as much money as they could. Maybe that's the reason why we see her in almost all the mags every month.
I gotta be honest this was coming sooner or later, she's been working hard 2-4 years.
My suggestion is, take a vacation, maybe a year or two. Find new management - come back with a killer single or movie. Don't burn yourself out Aya. Your only 22-23? That's hella young!
My heart goes out to hear and I wish her all the best! - and of course I'll still support her whatever her decision is.

I agree with Freefall. She should retire for a year. Take a whole year only for herself, with no work at all. She will have time to think about she wants to make out of her life. I mean, since she was hired at Oscar at the age of 17, she probably has never got time to think about herself. Now she has grown up, it is time for her to think by herself. She must be feeling this urging need of reflexion, more and more everyday. It's time. 22.
I'll be waiting for the Aya-chan who assumes her personality.
Meanwhile, I think I'll jump to the Bahamas. Or to some other great place around the world.
