My friend actually does that. I personally don't take apart my calendars but if I ever wanted to I'd just buy 2 and take one apart hehe hehe

But it's impossible to hang the calendar on the wall normally isn't it?

I usually use pins so I flip up one page and pin it at the top to see the other months

pins?!?, now why didn't i think of that while putting up my kyoko-chan calendar. i still think it is a better idea just buying two, and keeping one intact and ripping out the pages of the other....

this sure is an active thread, lots of AYA-CHAN!! Bonk Bonk

Wouldn't that mean putting holes through each page? Would pins even take the weight? It's quite bulky.

Yea, well basically there is a little hook at the top of the calendar that you flip up and I put 1 pin (thumb tack) through there. Then to stretch out my calendar and keep it flat on the wall, I put a pin on the 2 bottom corners. Once the month changes I flip up that page and I use 2 pins to keep it flipped up but using the same holes I made in the beginning. So you will have 2 holes but they're on the bottom corners and they're very small. I think I should show pics of how I did this to make it more clear. Time to dig out my digi cam hehe hehe

All right everyone! Here is how to put up a calendar 101. I will be demonstrating this with my Asami Abe 2004 calendar. All you will need are 5 thumb tacks or pins and maybe a chair or ladder and 5 minutes. So here we go!

Step 1: Take the calendar out of the shipping tube and remove from the plastic wrap if not removed already Big Grin

Step 2: Flip open that little hook at the top of the calendar. Sorry the pic is a little hard to see in this one...

Step 3: Put the calendar on the wall using the hook and placing a pin through it as shown...

Step 4: Then place a pin at each bottom corner. You will have to puncture holes in the calendar so maybe have some tissues ready since it's always hard putting holes through your favorite artist hehe Push the pin through the calendar and into the wall. I recommend first punching the holes through the calendar all at once and then stretch the calendar flat and finally push the pin into the wall.

Step 5: Repeat on the other side and if done correctly your calendar should look something like this. I circled the pins. They aren't too noticable Bleah

Step 6: So now you want to flip to a certain month, first remove the pins at the bottom and flip to whatever month you want. Then put the pins back in at the month you desire. Do this for both sides.

Step 7: Get a ladder if needed and flip the page(s) up and use a pin to hold it. You won't have to make a new hole in the calendar as it was already made in step 4 but you will have to create 2 new holes into the wall. Of course punching holes into the wall isn't as saddening as punching holes into the calendar hehe

Step 8: Once that is done on both sides your calendar should look something like this. The pins are circled again. They aren't too noticable either...

And there we have it everyone! In 8 easy steps! Also if you're worried about noticable holes left over, this is a pic of my calendar after a year of being on the wall. The hole really isn't too big. Big Grin

Though, if she knows you've been checking out Rena, she might give you an anchor... Beaten hehe
