dude i feel and know your pain.. right now i'm in tw and wireless has been down ever since i got here.. so far that's 3 weeks of no BT.. and i'm using comps at work and they restrict access to BT programs, winmx, msn, etc

UK dvd will be out 22/08/2005. It may be poor quality compared to the japanese release, but at least now we can be sure there's a subbed version on it's way. But hopefully the jp dvd will come out soon (with subs) .

Aaargh! That�Ls still so long to wait
But there will be a one Disk and a 2 Disk edition. Maybe the Japanese one will be out a bit sooner than the UK...

I think the 2 disc edition is just combining Azumi and Azumi 2.

Still, that's much better value. The first Azumi cost 20 pounds in HMV However it did have excellent subtitled extras. Optimum Releasing released the first film. Their reputation has gotten better since then, so hopefully the quality of the disc will have improved.

Hopefully though this all means that the JP release will be out before the UK release. It may now not feature English subtitles though if Azumi 2 has already been licensed abroad though

Azumi 2 UK DVD update

I emailed Optimum to try and prise some extra information out of them and here's their reply:

Thanks for your enquiry. We are releasing Azumi 2 on DVD and will also be doing a double pack with Azumi in August if all goes well. An official release will be going out to press end May/early June which will list extras. At the moment they are not confirmed.
