For me, the 'golden' Aya period appearance was from Spring 2003 (Azumi, KKK2003, AYAUETO album, Pureness tour) - Autumn 2003 (Hitonatsu no Papa e, MESSAGE & Kanshou PVs). She was so beautiful during that summer!
After that, she went through the 'power mullet' phase with daft hair (Binetsu, Ai no Tameni) and then got progressively thinner and thinner. I haven't been able to watch Attack No.1 simply because she's gotten so thin
I'll edit this post with pictures to compare tomorrow as it's 2:30am now.

I actually thought she looked good in Binetsu & Ai no Tameni PV. I agree with the time period you say is "golden Aya" period. Very Kawaii then. I'm sad to hear you weren't able to sit and watch Attack No.1. She was thin but still very cute

I agree with that "golden Aya period." She was just perfect back then. Don�Lt get me wrong, she still is but the look back then really suited her better than the current one, I think. Somehow the long hair makes her look even thinner, I think.
I wonder why so many girls and women, who looked good with short hair, let it grow when they get older? For example Natalie Imbruglia. She looked really good back then but now with long hair...

I didn't tend to care how fat i was till.....I noticed that I somewhat looked like i had a beer belly when i don't even drink beer
"too-thin" as a standard is horrible...Aya looks like she isn't healthy & kinda pale in Attack No.1. She needs more sleep and more eating to do...not to much...I say maybe she gains a good 10 lbs and that will do _________________

Naah, I was born here. Wonder what it would've been like though to be born in Vietnam and then move over here. My parents came from Vietnam though, said it was difficult coming over here not knowing any english to begin with

I think the reason why she's thin right now isa because she works too much. I think she needs to rest for a while
