Yup! Morita Go! He played the main character, Mori Motonari, during his late teens to young adult. I think this drama aired in 1997 or 1998. Somewhere around there.

Oh, really ???? Cool !!!! Mr Green
I would like to see the Taigas in witch Mabo acted before "Musashi" ... But I even don't know the years in which these taigas were aired ...

You might wanna check out this fanpage for Mabo:

http://www.geocities.co.jp/Hollywood-Kouen/8441/drama/mdrama.htm

It lists most of the dramas he's been in so I'm sure whatever Taiga dramas he's been in should be listed there. Gotta bust out the kanji dictionary though! Bleah hehe

Thanks a lot, Rinrin-chan !!!!!!

I have the Shinsengumi book! I'm looking for the other one. There's one with a red cover somewhere out there.

I thought Hakubundo had the Musashi one for awhile. I guess they must have sold out by now huh?

I really want that red cover one. There's supposed to be interviews with Joe, Tatsuya, Shingo, etc. in it.

The version on the MMPublic site (I call it Womby's) is the only version I know of that is P2P based.

If you're familiar with Usenet newsgroups (not part of the World Wide Web - check with your Internet service provider for information on Usenet), Shinsengumi! is being posted on alt.binaries.multimedia.japanese and alt.binaries.multimedia.japanese-repost. However, it's not the same version/quality as what's on Womby's.

So to summarize, here's a list of the different Shinsengumi! captures that I know of, both on-line and off-line

    Version on the Womby tracker
    Version on the a.b.m.j. newsgroup
Curious Violet (DVD only - she also takes orders)
Keal (more likely to MPEG-1 as was his Musashi captures. He's never made any announcement of capturing the series, however based on past experiences with Musashi, I'm sure he is.)
groink (ME!!!!! Like Curious Violet, I intend to sell my set on-line, but also include special features like menus, the OST, biographies of the artists, Shinsengumi Travels Eng sub features, and more)

Hey Groink let me know when you're gonna start selling! I might wanna buy a set from you. I was gonna buy it from Amazon.co.jp, but I'd rather have English subs! Mr Green
