More Shinsengumi related materials come from Rurouni Kenshin, as the author Watsuki Nobuhiro based most of his characters off of the Shinsengumi novel, Moeyo-Ken, "The Burning Sword."

I don't recommend Gohatto, it just wasn't very good.
