I really wonder at what all of you guys say about so many different Japanese actresses being hot.
Just finished watching My Little Chef with Yada Akiko and Ueto Aya. Honestly, these women do not register on the Richter scale. While they both did a great job with the story, are you all being blinded by fame?
Compared to the women I know as well as the women one commonly sees in the Asian club scene, Akiko and Aya don't even raise an eyebrow. Even at the wedding banquet I was at Saturday night, there were a number of women present that would blow them out of the water.

i think i thas more to do with the characters they portray rather than just physical characteristics. _________________

To each their own. I could stare into those beautiful eyes of Akiko all day. Aya is also very beautiful. But I agree it is also their persona that attracts people. _________________

I guess it really depends what each individual and what kind of girls you find attractive. Just because you don't find Aya and Akiko attractive, it doesn't mean that they are not beautiful human beings to others. But I think some people tend to fall in love with the characters that the actor/actress portrays rather than the actual person itself. _________________

I'm not disputing that Aya and Akiko are attractive per se, or that they are talented. Both are attractive and talented.
Have to admit, the picture on page 1 of this thread, of Akiko leaning against the wood headboard (under the lamp) makes my draw drop... she looks drop dead gorgeous in that photo.
But to the degree that I see worship going on around here makes me wonder, wakarimasu?
Of course, the word fan derives from the word fanatic.
