It is quite interesting that most of you seem to want to change your career path (^^), any particular reason? |

I'll have a steady girlfriend that looks like Tamaki Nami ~ My part time job will be working in a Sushi bar of the local Japanese restaurant ^_^ speaking of which...I could really go for some right now

Oooooh, man! That would be a totally cool gig! I never thought of becoming a sushi chef until you just now mentioned it. Maybe I could do something like that part-time in Waikiki. I wouldn't want to work for one of these conveyer belt-type 3rd-rate quality sushi places. I'd like to work in one of those really fancy sushi bars where if someone orders some unagi, you actually pull a live one out. Also, you just stand there, striking a conversation with whoever sits down at the bar, and make sushi-on-demand. Heck, if Noriko-chan comes to Waikiki (which she does every now and then), she'll probably want some sushi action... And then she'll come up to the "groink sushi bar", I'll start up a conversation, and then I'll soon become groink the happy-home-wrecker!!!!!
But then again... I'll just stick to my day job.

If Hikki comes without her husband or if Tamaki Nami strolls in, give me a ring and I shall join in ! Yeah, it can't be one of those assembly line sushi bars...there's also less chance of getting tips at those $_$

I agree wholeheartedly. It WAS worse when I was in the Philippines tho, went to school from 7 in the morning till 6 in the evening. First half of the day was for English and Filipino type classes (bio, math, philippine hist, etc), and the second half was for Chinese classes (same as b-4, only in Mandarin)... I think I went mad for a couple of years there somewhere ... now as for college, went thru 4 years of stupid courses, my career requires a master's to get in the exec program, and now I'm actually going to be in another intensive two year program for my CFP/IA license to do financial planning. Oh well, at least I get to stick one or two of those nifty suffixes after my name like how M.D. works for doctors... *sigh*... can't believe I'm gonna go thru this whole school thing all over again

I plan to take all my pre-med requirements during the 4 years for a bachelor's degree. It's not like you waste your time getting a BA, you take almost like the prerequisites usually for your BA if you want to do med afterwards :] After that, I'll apply to a lot of med schools and spend another 4 years in Med School..hopefully alive. that equals something like 4 years of basics + 4 years of med = 8 years of college
