i might actually get Sapuri, i know i know - older woman/younger man again, probably gonna be disappointed again but i'm curious to see how she handles that type of role given that Shinohara Ryoko and Koyuki both shone in Anego and Kimi wa Petto respectively

go for it...but i do remember reading frequent criticism of her acting by those who have seen it...so be prepared!

hehe, i'll keep that in mind. i still have quite a large number of doramas i've collected that i haven't watched yet (as you may have noticed from the blank reviews under my doramas
) so sapuri will likely not be that high up on my to-watch list should i get it _________________

the large cache of doramas that remain unwatched is definitely not something limited to you....i can't watch them so quickly anymore...because the quality is not uniformly exceptional....as with anything...truthfully, i think i've seen most of the best ones already....alot of the new stuff is ho hum.

producers have turned doramas into vehicles for young stars often times to the detriment of substance

i mean when you look at some of the older doramas...you don't see so many young actors/actresses...at least not they don't seem so young, or perhaps it's because they had more mature roles.

Yea, at the beginning I was ultra annoyed with him, wanted to smash his slobbery face in the nearest wall, but then get used and somehow managed to finish this dorama. Storyline is really good and the Darth Vader theme is absolute killer

 Now, now...lets be nice!
But I have to agree with you! A funny, and truthful way to put your "distaste"! And the Darth Vader theme was sooo funny! It really added to the drama! Probably wrong section to be talking about this stuff though!

Yes! I know what you mean! I think anyone who has seen Densha knows what you mean!

BUT....Itoh Misaki makes up for his whimpy character! <----like my leeway back to the topic?
