I've no idea when does Shinobi come out? I got to check that Actor Style Magazine again.

Oh yeah, I've finished watching "Chi to Hone" last night. Oh my, it is a good movie but Joe was not there for long.
Takeshi played a korean who went and lived in Osaka. His character was basically a bastard that had no compassion with women and he treated all women badly and that included his children. I was reallly emotionally upset seeing that movie especially with Takeshi's character. I never tolerate men beating up, raping and kicking women around like some object. He was by all mean hideous. However, the movie was good overall despite some rudeness and vulgarity here and there.

Of course I have no doubt in Odagiri's acting. Though he appeared not too long but he managed to give you an impression that last long in your head. Thanks to his acting ability. Odagiri played as Takeshi's son from another woman whom he had raped before he married his wife (kyoka suzuki, though his character made string of affairs with two other women as well). Odagiri grew up and became gangster later on he finally found his father in Osaka. You will see a very different Odagiri here. He was downward rude, inconsiderate and beat woman too (jeez..so many scene beating up women). He was not acting as a cool person more like a guy that you would gladly kick his ass for good. His acting is so convincing and it made me hate but felt sorry for him too in that movie. I do not recommend everyone to watch or even buy it on DVD since I bet it would not be everyone's taste.

that's my short review. I hope it helps you guys who are still curious on what really happened in that movie.

Thanks for the review Aka! Sounds interesting, but not my kind of movie I think. I believe I saw it in the video rental store so maybe I'll rent it to see if I like it.

I finally finished watching "fukigenna Gene"!

I noticed that a lot of Joe's characters tend to be moody types lately. This drama was no exception, but at the same time he was funny!

Hi there, i'm new here and in fact also a new fan of Joe also.

I first saw him in tentai kazoku and began to like him. But it's the movie Azumi that make me like him so much hehehe... Now i just finished watching Shinsengumi and currently trying to find a place that sells his movie or drama (in my country) because it's so hard to find his movie here .
