Hey Aya_man, you have to watch "Kekkon Dekinai Otoko", as in my opinion this is his best role! Also good is "At home dad". Two must watches for Abe Hiroshi fans!

He's really good in Shinzanmono as well, even though the drama itself is only slightly better than average.

Like most really good actors, he can rise above the material, even if it's mediocre. Victory! Peace!

I believe that Abe Hiroshi has become a better looking man with age. When I compare the image above this post with the one before that, I would say that he looks his best when he's older. Also, why is it that I like him better when he hasn't completely shaved his face? Oh, and to answer some questions that may arise because of this comment; no, I am not gay. Smile

^ The thing that's cool about him is that he's not a girly-man like most of these current fangirl idols: there's not way in hell you'd mistake him for a girl. Mr Green

Also true. I think he's my favorite male idol now.
But trying to equal him is impossible. Because you know, Abe-san looks good in anything he wears. Be it an apron (At Home Dad) or a suit (Shinzanmono)...

By the way, I'm currently downloading his 2006-Drama "Kekkon Dekinai Otoko". Has anyone seen it? And without spoilers, is it good? Smile

It's very good. Victory! Peace!

I think he won an award for the role as did his co-star Natsukawa Yui (she's a terrific actress in her own right, BTW). Victory! Peace!

I would say so.

Be advised: his character is quite quirky.

Watched the first episode of "Kekkon Dekinai Otoko". It's very... revealing. People who've seen it, must know what I'm talking about.

Indeed. I wonder, though, what the music is that his character keeps listening to. I like it very much. Would like to listen to it... if only I had the name of the track Sad

Does anyone know? Big Grin
