i love this drama its the first drama i saw and its what got me hooked onto jdramas
you're quite lucky....this dorama, in my opinion, constitutes best of class...one of top 5 all time favorite doramas and i've seen numerous doramas...
i'm gonna have to 2nd that....orange days is still my fav. out of all the dramas ive seen...thats a very good one to start out with as well!
I just started watching this series yesterday, and I'm already on Episode 4!!! It's SO good. I mean, it's one of those rare dramas that get you hooked right from the first episode.
It's really refreshing and really promising. I can't wait to watch the rest Plus, Tsumabuki Satoshi is so yum-num. _________________

It also has one of the most underrated (IMHO) actresses, Miho Shiraishi, when you get done with Orange Days, check her out in Densha Otoko, she is hilarious!!!

And rumour has it they are going to tie the knot.
Really? I heard they were dating but I've heard nothing about marriage. I hope this is true because they make a kawaii couple! Definitely better than the previous pairing of Shibasaki Kou san and Issa. Ugh!

Yeah, kawaii couple indeed. If the rumours are true, they are going to be another classic couple like Nanako Matsushima and Takashi Sorimachi, who met in GTO.
I was watching the last Epi of Orange Days and I got to mebbe the last 5 minutes of the show, when suddenly the program shuts down. Apparently my sister quit the download prematurely and I didn't know. So I burned the entire series without realizing that it was incomplete!!!!
And I was SO INTO IT!!! So frustrating!
So now I gotta re-download the last epi, and re-burn it before I can actually see if...

Try google both their names ... there was an article saying that they had dinner together with her dad and he (the dad) told ST to take care of her. So I guess from that the publication is making some inferences. Dunno if dinner with a parent is a common friend thing in Japan.
Dunno if it realiable -- could be like the gossip magazines they have here in the US.
I notice that Asian entertainers really keep their relationships underwraps. They like deny it up until they are married secretly. I guess here in the US it doesn't matter if a mega star is married everyone still in love with them (like Brad Pitt
I am excited about Dorro (it will be nice to see them together again) but I guess I will have to wait a LONG LONG TIME

Sae went to Germany again or stayed behind
.
So hard to wait...
Okies, so I finished watching Orange Days.
DUDES, this drama was so good! I heard Tu-san rave about it but it wasn't until I saw it for myself that I realized I'll never doubt his taste again.
Although there were some places where things were just too convienient, overall it was so refreshing (like an orange ) and yesh, I was all teary-eyed at the end. It was like the PERFECT ending because it's what you're hoping for from the moment they meet. The acting was superb and Shibasaki Kou really impressed me. Of course, I've now become an annoying fangirl of Tsumabuki Satoshi
I'll definitely spend the time to see this one again. _________________

i ain't the end all be all but i've seen a few doramas in my day and i absolutely cherished this dorama...i could relate to it, it was realistic, touching and endearing... truly elicited emotion from me.....absolutely stellar in terms of what japanese doramas could be...although many don't reach such lofty heights....it's funny....my 3 fav doramas...Long Vacation, Beautiful Life and Orange Days have all been written by the same female screenwriter....
gosh i loved Sae.......and i thought that Kai was so admirable, yet human.....i loved this dorama.
