She has beauty and talent.
I think in order to fully rate her, you need to watch more of her movies if you think watching her perform in dramas isn't enough to satisfy your thoughts on her talent.
Yesh exactly. You need to keep in mind that sometimes the role itself influences whether you like the actor or not.
I think she's verra talented, and very pretty. She has a way of taking on the character and putting truth into the role. But again, this is my own opinion, and it varies according to your own likes/dislikes. _________________
i first saw kou in orange days.and i thought that she is deaf in real life.that makes her a talented actress, very convincing acting.and to think that she studied sign language just for the show..i tried to study sign language but i ended learning only a few gestures..

...do u guys think shibasaki kou is pretty n talented actress? i dont mean 2 offend any of her fans, but i often read some articles saying kou is very pretty n talented, but honestly, after watching her drama, i dont think so, is it only me or is there any guys out there which have the same thinking, coz i dont think shes that pretty, while for acting, out of 10, i only give it 6, just wondering wat u guys think abt her.......
hmmm...pretty or not it's very realtive. for her acting i just watched 2 drama of her, orange days n good luck. she played very good (i think) in orange days but lookee sucks in good luck. so maybe it sometimes depends on what kind of drama she is playing in. _________________

i didn't like orange days all that much. as for kou, at first glance i thought she looked like a better-looking alien--no offense to anyone. however, when i watched battle royale, i thought she looked cute. i didn't recognize her (1. she's on a killing spree. 2. she's actually TALKING), but other than that...she's got talent. _________________

I got to know Kou from the drama Love Quotient. She was pretty and lovable in the show.. and when I watched Good Luck, I didn't know it was her as she looked different, with the hair tied up etc, acting boyish.. After watching Orange Days, perhaps she was paired with Tsumabuki Satoshi as lovers, with many touching scenes, I grew to like her here. I say, she's pretty talented changing her roles well from one drama to another. Looking forward to her upcoming dramas

Very nice video clip, arigatou gozaimasu!
"Orange Days" is a nice mellow love story about a not so mellow person, you haven't spoiled anything.

Semi-off topic, they've started showing Dr. Koto 2006 here, and the last thing I saw Kou in was Orange Days, I had COMPLETELY forgotten what her voice sounded like! Guess that means she did a good job in Orange Days ne?

LOL! I haven't seen her in any other drama BUT Orange Days, so I really don't know what she sounds like. I need more exposure. _________________

right on, g' mark..thanks for replying.
it's been released on d-a but i don't know if any fansubbers have picked it up as of yet..in any event it's the only dorama in a LONG time that's consistently getting ratings in Japan over 20%
