5 years + 8 months here. I credit it to the Bush recession.
In the 90's we could all work contracts and change jobs every 6 months for $5 an hour more.

The Telecom industry boom in Dallas created a shortage of programmers. That raised the rates for all programmers. But when the telecom industry went bust, it was like playing musical chairs. Have to find something quick and sit down.

WOW.
I get a $2000 (roughly) automatic increase every year. I wonder what that breaks down to hourly. _________________

Oooh that is a shame. Those moutains and the view is so magnificant! I could actually feel the spiritual element of that place. I heard they film a lot of car commercials there. Next time you see a car commercial with red rocks in the background that will most likely be Sedona,Az.
I went there with a friend who lives in Scottsdale, Az along with other friends as a sort of reunion. She showed us all a great time! Good food and drinks everywhere we went. I would love to go back to Az.
