And for those of you who are wondering, yes, that is my wife's foot in the backround. She's sleeping and the bed was right behind the chair in which I took the pic.

Don't have a tatoo now, but i want to get wings on my back ^_^
Haha me too and so do like three other people I know XD;;
I also wanted to get IX just below my collarbone like Train in Black Cat 'cause I love that manga and 9 is acutally a thing with one of my friends who's my 'soul sister' haha XD This will be the first one I get probably end of next year :3
My uncle has some tattoos. :3 He got them in the navy! whooo go historical! XD He's like 60 now though. And they still don't look that bad o-o! Especially being like 40 year old tattoos!
I only like black tattoos though. Sounds weird, yeah, but in the long run I think they look better as they age. :X I only like some coloured tattoos ^^;;
Theres one guy who has Biff Henderson and David Letterman and stuff tattooed on him haha XD;;; He was on the Late Show like a year ago. xDDD;; I thought he was kind of ridiculous.
Plus G4 did a thing awhile back where they gave people tattoos for free if it was of their logo. o_O Wtf!
I know lots of people who get them done in their 40's and stuff :3
I have a tattoo just below my left shoulder - 2 bats with a red moon in the background. My design. I don't have any regrets on that one
However, I also have 2 anime vampires on my upper right thigh and although I love it, it turned out to be much larger than I wanted it (because of the detail). Whenever I return to Hawaii to visit my mum, I avoid the beach or pool because I won't wear a bikini...the tattoo is a bit too showy.

You know I didn't get the big deal about tattoos either until I started watching a TV show called Maimi Ink last year. It is on the TLC channel. This is one of the few good reality shows! It is a reality TV show that shows 5 men and one woman who are real tattoo artists who work in a real shop called Miami Ink in FL. They film about 3 or more tattoo stories in each episode and show the wide variety of reasons people choose to get them. Their stories are each unique and touching. Also each tattoo artist has their own definite style. They also show a little bit about the tattoo artists' personal life. I now can truly appreciate the beauty and the amount of skill it takes to create a really good tattoo. Eventhough I know I will never get one my perspective on them has changed completely.
P.S. Yoji is my favorite guy on Miami Ink of course.

I have two music related ones.. Thinking of getting a SMAP related one.
Your music related tattoos sound nice. I am guessing that you are young so you might want to ask yourself if you would really want the SMAP tattoo on your body when you get older? Just a thought....

i've watched miami ink also. since this programme aired my friend's business has shot through the roof. i've put a link to his website on the previous page. _________________
I do. It's a form of art that goes back to even before Ancient civilizations. Of course, in modern day society, it's been distorted, but like Enna said, it's still a work of art. Just because it's not on a canvas, one shouldn't discredit the meaning, and talent, that goes behind it. _________________
this is a photo of my back piece. it was taken while half completed. i need to take a photo of the finished article. will do one day.
it's a scene from a story called 'momijigari'.
