The first paragraph is really insulting. The writer, Tyrone Rodriguez, basically states that if you are an Asian male, that you can't have "Asian fever" (attraction to Asian females), and that only caucasian and non-asian males can have this "asian fever". Well, that is a bunch of B**lsh*t !!!.
Here is the direct quote from Tyrone Rodriguez: "There's a symptom some call Asian fever. It primarily afflicts Caucasian and non-asian males--c'mon, you really can't have Asian fever if you already are asian, right? When a subject is afflicted by Asian fever he finds females of this ethnicity irresistible."

This is very offensive to me because I'm an asian man.

Well, actually I think he just meant that for some one of the same race, they don't exactly call it a fever or fetish, because it is considered "normal", just like Caucasian cannot really have caucasian fever, that is already the norm. You know, other races have Asian Fetish just like some asian girls who have White Man Fetish (or even Asian men, haha).

Like he is saying that a caucasian man's attraction to a female asian is superior to an asian man's attraction to an asian female.
These type of generalizations can only offend people. I may be a bit sensitive... but still I was offended.
Comments like this guy's article becomes a racial thing. Consider this: what if a man is half asian, and half caucasian? How would you define his attraction to an asian female -- "half asian-fever?" Yup, it sounds ridiculous, but that is why that ign.com article offended me.

Hahahaha. Actually I have some sort of a "half asian-fever", , I really like mixes (maybe because I am mixed myself, but not sure). But it is so funny you came up with that phrase. Perhaps I shall write an article about Half Asian Fevers and submit it to IGN.

My signature used to be Kristine Hermosa, and she is Asian (Filipina).
(side note: I hate it how some people classify Filipinos as non-asian. I found this out when I was applying for college, and we had to choose ethnicity. There was a box for Asian, and another box for Pacific Islander/Filipino. That is B.S. because Philippines is an Asian country with many Asian customs).

The man was obviously just saying if an Asian likes an Asian, its just an attraction, but if a non-Asian likes an Asian, its the same attraction, only labeled 'Asian Fever'.

Lets be real; this isnt worth caring about, let alone being upset about. Just get over it.
