*off topic: My sole purpose in life is to make UCSD regret they ever rejected the Potato-guy!!! Evil sorry i had to rant for a sec.

Being born and raised in San Diego I can give you a heads up on what San Diego teenagers do:

My niece is currently going there, but she thinks it's okay. She's in a dorm, so she doesn't have to fight for parking which is a bitch... Heh, parking sucked when I went there 20+ years ago. No improvement, I guess. hehe

I was just there today to pick up some more Golgo 13 manga books.

It is indeed 50% off now so ya better hurry. The shelves are starting to look bare. All the CDs I wanted were gone. There were people who brought in a shopping cart from the Mitsuwa grocery store into the book store because they were buying so many books.

The shopping plaza is at 3rd and Alameda. There is a huge parking structure on Alameda right next to the Mall. Take the ticket with you into the store and if you buy something they'll validate it. Even if you don't buy anything, the first 30 minutes of parking is free without validation.

Shop til you drop!
