i like taking it one episode a day.
this way, i can have stuff to look forward to.

and i cant do marathon watchings. i have a tendency to fall asleep and /or get bored with the dorama (Even if it IS a really good one)

and i practice my willpower. hahaha.

but sometimes i just cant help it.

when i watched gokusen, i took it one day at a time until around episode 8 then i marathoned to the end. haha. XD

omg.. depends on the drama..

1 day
a. gokusen
b. h2
c. sekachuu

2 days
a. engine
b. pride
c. gokusen2
d. waterboys
e. anego

i think.. it really depends.. if yamada takayuki's in it.. i usually finish the series fast.. he's a really good actor.. but definitely, if i start a drama.. it's done within the week.. i have control issues

tho sometimes i let it drag on and on when its not that interestin to me.. ^^ or if i have a TON of work to do and i actually have self control for once... like once the realization that finals are coming sinks in...

if i have a complete set, and if the dorama is really entertaining and interesting i could finish it in one day. i just couldnt stop halfway. i just have to finish it.

i think almost all the Takuya Kimura dorama i have was finished by me all in one day.

i was done with Strawberry On The Shortcake and Summer Snow, one day each. Bonk

Depending if the show is interesting, and of course if I have the rest of the show I can watch a few episodes a day/night.

but it happens far too often that I can barely finish one ep and fall asleep hehe

there are some dramas that I never complete....I'm not exactly the kind to sit through something I don't find interesting....as for those I like, normally I can finish it in one go....in the past, I used to watch one drama in one whole night....now there are fewer dramas that make me have the impulse to do that though...

hmmm...
it depends on what time i start to watch the drama,
and how interesting it is..
usually i only watch dramas i'm interested in..
so more than often i get hooked..
and won't stop watching it..
unless if i have sch the next day or get to tired..
so the maximum i take nowadays is 2 days??

but i think finishing a series too quickly has it disadvantages...
i get less affected/impressed by the plot and characters...

for me, it really depends on if i download a drama in bulk or if it is still airing in Japan. if it's still airing and needs to be fansubbed, it usually takes me awhile to watch, depending how many episodes there are. 1 episode per week. but if i download it in bulk, i usually watch it in 1-2 days because i really get into it. hehehe.

Sounds like my type of watching style :hehe: Started GTO on Saturday morning at 1am, finished before noon the next day.

Similar type of thing for Gokusen.

Usually though, finish within a week.

I usually watch JDoramas during the weekend, and will try to get an early start so I can finish the whole drama (10~11 episodes) on the same day.

Assuming 10 ep. @ 45 min apiece, in one sitting
DivX (~5 hrs)
RMVB (~6 hrs)
DVD (<4 hrs)
Video tape (~6 hrs)
watching with other people (~8hrs)
watching one ep at a time as they come out ... 10 weeks Sad

if i had the whole series.. and there is no school i can finish it within 1 day
but if there is school... i will sacrifice some of my drama time to do "some" homework... so therefore um... 2-3 days
