Yes, I think so. Although TBS primetime slot, Sunday 9PM, isn't decided yet. But, I doubt it'll be Kimura's drama. If I'm not mistaken, Kimura doesn't like two-timing jobs...he'd rather to fully focus on one job at a time. But, don't worry....there are still hopes that Kimura-Nanako dorama will be shown for Summer or Fall season.

Even if it's totally cancelled...I'm sure Kimura will have a dorama anyway this year...probably in Fall, after Bushi no Ichibun filming is all settled.

All of NTV's primetime drama slots have been filled, so I don't think there's going to be a New Kindaichi series next season. This could be pushed later to summer.

As for Nanase, I don't mind Juri Ueno. She's sweet and a talented actress. But MY fav Kindaichi of all times still have to be Tsuyoshi Dohmoto, the very first Kindaichi Hajime. Not Jun or even Kame can beat him.

yep
i second WD
i also think that Dohmoto Tsuyoshi potrayed Kindaichi the best..
I havent watched Jun's
Yet i watched Kame's
His acting is not bad..but he kind of not resemble Kindaichi's looks
hhahhaha
Probably bcoz he is too skinny
He needs to gain weight
