A little on the beginning... Sawaki (Tsutsumi Shinichi) was delivering his mail and happens meet his childhood fren Noguchi who is a gangster. After they chatted on their present situtaion, Sawaki was pretty convinced that he break from his daily routine. However, Noguchi was actually a wanted man by the police. Emerging from Noguchi's apartment, Sawaki was pre-determined to be a dangerous character.
Upon returning home, Sawaki got drunk and tore up his undelivered mails and started reading them. He stumbled upon this letter of Kyoko who got a terminal illness and decided to deliver this letter to her and blah blah blah...
They fell in love and made a promise that Sawaki will be at the hospital before her operation. On that faithful day, Sawaki was happily cycling to meet her not knowing the fact that he was now identified by the police as a sexually peverted, drug-addicted, mass murdering gang kingpin who likes to dismember his victims. And I guess you know the rest...

Yoz! This board very quiet nowadays cos theres not much news ne~ and i'm like trying very hard everyday to see if there is any "news" And stumbled upon this nice photo of Tsutsumi and "friends" (eri & co.)

*Screams* Chakushin Ari (One Missed Call) is really coming to Singapore!! News confirmed by I-Weekly and NewPaper Online. Yatta! Rating still to be confirmed, release date unknown~

*CONTAINS POSSIBLE DRIVE SPOILER*
After watching DRIVE, I discovered this show has like soSOO many links with Tsutsumi's movies~ especially those after DRIVE.
Discovery in Drive
1. Shibasaki's red umbrella~ Uchiyama Rina has one too! in SOTSUGYO
2. Tsutsumi is again a salaryman (Monday remember?)
3. The most interesting discovery... if you watch Chushingura 1/47, Tsutsumi's role is a musashi remember? Who was sent to death by his "lord". He perform Harikiri (stab himself at the stomach) on himself... Somehow~ in DRIVE, if you reverse the movie's order, Chushingura's character is Tsutsumi's ancestor! He too wore the same costume (total white Musashi death robe) and most importantly they both perform Harikiri and is dead... its interesting... and the part he talk abt his loyalty to the lord!
4. The last scene, Shibasaki and Tsutsumi in the car. SWEETS??!! If you watched Chakushin Ari (One Missed Call) you will know why~ both at the last scene!
Man... DRIVE is freaky! BUT, Tsutsumi is SO SO SOOOOO SO SO handsome! Felt so electrifying~ the beginning scene when he stares out the window!! *faints* _________________
