actually, yes at the end of epi6; it shows Shimao being promoted to be/appointed ����� (think = director/supervisor; sth like tat); Kaori & Miyazawa are appointed his subordinates.

& yes, the reason why Shimao is promoted is becoz Takayanagi wanna take advantage of Shimao's success with the Italian Singer & Tojo Boeki. He wanna cash in, taking advantage of the praise Shimao gains.

Also something wrong with Mariko because of the family debts; she starts working in a club, trying to pay off the debts; that's why she was reading the magazine for part-time job seekers in the last epi...this seems to be reason why Shimao accepts the promotion even tho he's not happy with Takayanagi... (there u go, cheesy again)

there will perhaps be some interesting development between Mariko & Ryuta...

Looks like we'll hav fewer scenes of Shin-chan again...

if Shimao find Tojo's employees pitiful, thot it wld be logical for Shimao to at least realise wat impact the "good deed" will hve on Frontier & thus, Frontier's employees' future when he saw how much damage Tojo will bring to Frontier if the acquisition is successful ... but ep6 showed tat he's very happy & pleased with Takayanagi's acquisition ...

well, maybe it did cross Shimao's mind.. only tat the scriptwriter chose not to let the audience see it

for me, the transcripted conversations on the Japanese website helped me alot ... but for words tat i dun understand, i'd still need to use the dictionary

yes, yes, I can't agree with U more, nikyy! I am totally with Takayanagi If I were the boss, making profits for Frontier would also be my top priority; after all I would have to give salary to myself & my employees; there seems nothing wrong with the ultimate goal of making money for the firm ...Takayanagi is just trying to stay alive in the brutal bizworld...

Shimao is definitely one-tracked minded; at times v. simplistic too his characterisation

Who's more yasashii...tough indeed leh; Shimao is good-natured; ii hito desu, but he seems to have this linear thinking pattern which won't get him very far! Too hot-headed liao, Island Boy! I just think Takayanagi is doing him a favour by giving him some very needed wake-up calls, SUZUKI SHIMAO

Takayanagi is shrewd; yet he's so focused on his ultimate goal (making big money & conquer the world) that he can be yasahii to a certain extent...
