u might be rite; the whole script of Beginner did seem to be developed around Kaeda...

yaloh, Tsuyoshi is definitely the reason, but for us lot here; Shin chan has to be the focus

I am v. content with the finale; not that becoz it's believable, but becoz there are LOTS of Shin chan

btw, been watching Clip again (most parts lah coz fell asleep in the later half of 1st disc )

this is wat i understand abt the story~

at the courtyard in the beginning, where Rufas was holding on to some Clark Gabriel photo & he mentioned the handbag... tats is supposed to be the handbag of the lady boss whom Pipi tries to impersonate in the 2nd half of the story. I dunno where Erendira gets the bag & how is Erendira related to Saruma

Rufas then called the real lady boss abt the lost handbag & probably try to get some money off her?

rem the part where Naifu has his leak? & Pipi walk pass, think they r talking abt their scam.. abt her impersonation of the lady boss coz Naifu mentioned something abt Rufas calling the real lady boss.. but the strange thing is, when Pipi looked into the mansion, she suddenly decide to quit until Naifu offered her a high enuff price, then only she agreed..

When she reached the mansion & saw Erendira, she thot Erendira is Saruma... m quite sure tat Pipi all long, thot Erendira is Saruma

& when Pipi arrived, think she secretly kept the diary which Rufas is supposed to return her. This way she's able to threaten Rufas to perhaps compensate her for losing her diary, perhaps this is the scam?

.. so, tat point in time, Rufas & Erendira were discussing in the courtyard how to deal with this problem...

this is the scene where Erendira starts to cry when Rufas told her abt the story of Dona

abt tat scene, this is wat i gathered...
1st he asked her wat she thinks of some photo? whether tat photo looks like a happy family?
Erendira hesitated & Rufas was suspicious for a while coz he said tat anyone who looked at tat photo will think of a happy family. Then he went on & told her tat his mom was not in the photo, instead the lady in the pic wass his dad's lover.
Then he went on & told Erendira abt Dona being said to hve killed her dad & lover. He said his mom told him tat his dad died not coz of murder but sth else. But he said he knew tat this was not the truth.
Think he said tat he then asked Dona abt this & Dona asked him wat does he think. Then Rufas told Erendira tat he believed tat Dona is innocent, he believed his sis.
If i rem correctly, think he said tat he believed tat its his mom tat killed his dad & his lover. He continued to say tat tat's why Dona was married to Naifu, who is the son of the lawyer who defended Dona, think its some kind of deal.

Think its at this point tat Erendira starts crying but denied when Rufas asked her. She said tat its coz of the rain, not tears.

At the same time, for some reason, Naifu decided to ask Pipi to stop the scam. Think at tat point in time, Gara is suffering frm some mysterious headache.

Think the play did sort of give indication tat Naifu still luvs Dona? He married Dona not coz he's asked to, instead its coz he loved her.

Nearer to the end, the policeman decide to go down to the basement & chk out the body tat tat Doctor was talking abt. At tat point in time, Pipi flipped thru the policeman wallet & realised tat he's a policeman. So, she decided to leave. B4 she can leave, suddenly the stage goes all crazy & they she said if its coz Saruma is angry..

i suspect the body in the basement belong to Saruma coz at the last scene, think the policeman said tat Erendira locked tat whoever in the basement & let her starved to death? then it cant be their mom, coz think Rufas poisoned her...

btw, Naifu went to visit Rufas to build a grave for Dona? but think Rufas still believes tat his sis is alive & thus, didnt want to hve a grave for her.

nod, very Koi NO feel & manga-like tale, that Bright Light miracle is just too good to be true liao...but we can't think too much of its plot.

Also like that Toru told Sakuraba off scene Shin chan really shows Toru with lots of guts!

There are big fans of Japanese dramas in Thailand (BUT it seems Korean dramas' fans are much more now Even though Shin-chan is not the most popular Japanese actor in Thailand but I think he is well-known from Yamato Nadeshiko and Good Luck!. In GL, my sister begins to like him more than KIMUTAKU. Ahhh! I will go to Japan Foundation today. Hope to find Shin-chan film there la

& of course, Toru! when they returned to their office after Toru went all crazy & angry, Kamiya asked why he lost his temper (?), he said "gomen" so softly & nodded, just like a kid asking to be forgiven

& that long "Hai" when Shimao told him that he needed to work hard also!

Geeez, I think just this epi, it's enuff to award our Shin chan some Drama Academy awards liao
