Eri is still my fav, but Matsuyuki seems to be the best match, who really brings out the best in him. Hate Rina, don't mind Kou and Koyuki (to be co-starred in Always san no chome)
What is Kilu and Sakura? Arrr, Sakura the play? Is it available? I still can't find the 2002 play DVD that is only sold to residents in Jap. Is it the Streetcar play?
BTW, is Tsutsumi san only appearing in a few scenes in Lorelei?
u r rite Koyuki in Sanchome.. forgotten abt it totally
too bad Koyuki will be pairing up with Yoshioka Hidetaka in Sanchome
yup... my guess is so... only a few scenes
apparently, Lorelei is a box office hit in Japan now
so, won't be surprised if it makes its rounds in HK / Spore cinema later part of this year or next year
Kilu & Sakura are plays in 1997(if i rem correctly) & 2001 respectively..
nope.. Tsutsumi's plays r not on sale except for Aterui, Yajyuro &@Chameleon's Lip... so sad... been wanting to watch his TPT plays.. but cannot find
apparently some of his plays may be shown on pay TV in Japan like Wowow (Maboroshi will be shown on Wowow in April) or NHK BS2
Taiwan can receive these channels.. wat about HK?

Yes, it is Aterui. I checked out the link you guys posted sometime ago, but it seems that it is only sold in Japan, there is no overseas transport. Actually, I'm not sure what other things the site has to say about the DVD sale as I have only little Jap.
Where can I find Yajyuro? Don't know much about the play. Is it on amazon? If it is, I'll get it, NO MATTER WHAT, even it has no subs and I have to save up money for amazon. I am doing it for our Tsutsumi san.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Lorelei coming to HK. We don't see too many Jap movies now, only the box office hits and we did have Chakushin. I saw the DVD twice and fast forward all the creepy bits, only leaving those scenes with Tsutsumi san, but still some of those are pretty scary.
We don't have that many Jap channels here, I think on Cable we have Jet TV, and NHK, but I'm connected to those channels. Cable also shows some Jap dramas. You guys are lucky in Singapore.

I want to see Maboroshi!
Similar to Aterui, Yajyuro is only available for sale to residents in Japan Only Chameleon's Lip is available in amazon
no, no... the only Japanese channels available on Pay TV here are also Jet & NHK.. We dun hve wowow or NHK B2 channels either
oh its Jinsei Tsuji eh...

No lah, they don't have it in Taiwan; I've seen post on the web saying it's available in China, but think it's pirated copy.
It's on amazon, but may not have subs ... I think I'll get it even when I don't understand a word Tsutsumi san says. He looks gorgeous in the film, well in my opinion, at least.

I wonder if the version you get in Singapore is the same as ours in HK? The DVD I got does not have the behind the scenes and interviews specials as in the Jap edition. I think someone posted pics here showing Tsutsumi san dancing during one of the shooting breaks on location. A very jovial character, he is, eh? I bet he's totally different from the roles he usu portrays. No wonder why tabloids like to create gf 4 him; if a man is jovial and jokes a lot, he's naturally attractive to a lot of women!

Is there a link to dl the dancing clip?
the singapore's version doesnt have any behind-the-scene and interviews too, its only the movie and the quality wasnt that good either.
dorama: what are the DVD available in HK?
i saw the pictures of the dancing in chakushin ari too. i wonder where we can download that as i wanted to watch that part too...
Hmm.... he seems jovial and good sense of humor so it should be normal that women are attracted to him. however i dont seem to find any article mentioning of who he's going with isnt it?

i dun think foreign papers wld be interested to report his gossips unless the other party is someone well known to the overseas audience... he's probably not a well known figure outside of Japan ... considering tat newspaper articles on Japanese actors / actress r alreadi a rare event

how are you able to tell if its original or pirated copy? Yahoo sells pirated stuff too?
For most Jap films, they don't usu have Chinese subs, except for those already shown in HK cinemas or at film festivals, I believe. So, the clearest thing about its being eillegalf is that films such as Monday, they have simplified Chinese subs; strangely enough not even the original Jap edition has Jap subs, so you can tell. In HK, we categorize films (sth similar to the US) and all legal copies should bear a category standard. The copies sold on Yahoo don't print such logo and are published by some obscure companies. For Tsutsumi sanfs movies, if they have subs (Eng or Chinese), I will go for the elegalf edition (tho have to save up money). However, it's difficult to get dramas; there is one company in HK authorized to release HK edition, but all they release are TBS dramas. Tsutsumi san's dramas are mostly produced by Fuji, except Good Luck. But they haven't released GL so far. If you buy original drama DVD from amazon Japan, they are incredibly expensive. What's worse, they don't have subs.
BTW, I actually got my copy of Dangan Runner from Singapore Yahoo, and it has only Eng subs (better than none!). I don't know if this is the real thing, but it looks all right to me.
