Time for some self-analysis, K. Any details? Rolling eyes What does it all mean?

Didn't Freud say "every dream is a wish?" (I heard that somewhere... Probably misquoted the guy Sweat )...

Oh god I don't even wanna go there. If the person is revolting to me in real life I wouldn't understand it being an unconscious wish Crazy Anyway, I only understand Freud to some extent. Some may not agree but he was way too genius for me to fully understand.

I forgot to add another aspect of my dreams:

If I leave the TV on while sleeping, whatever I hear from the shows gets incorporated into my dream O__o

LOL, nope. I have cable unlike some people we know.... hehe

I usually fall asleep to movies, Court TV, Discovery Health, dramas, Nick-at-Nite, etc. It's pretty strange when different shows start getting into the mix. Once I had Archie Bunker yelling at Greg Brady. That was pretty frickin' awesome.

Hmm, not the ones of whom I'd never sleep with. Ugh, some I'd refuse to admit due to nausea Shameful Cry

But for another recurring dream, here we go. I'll prepare to be analyzed because I did not study dream analysis (though it interests me).

I was with most recent ex but I was about 18. The dream was pretty much a hot $%^* fest for the first half. Oops, did I say that? Anyway...I was still in high school. After much preaching to others, I got knocked up by him about 4 months before graduation. He leaves me and disappears. No matter what I do, I end up missing school each day for random reasons (no money for the bus, etc.), and eventually do not graduate and am a jobless diploma-less single mom. Basically I became everything I did not understand and swore I could never be. But for some odd reason I was never in my house and my family did not appear. Hmm.

As for the other recurring dream, not sure if I wanna get into that one. It's a bit twisted, $%^#ed up, and other details are outright strange.

Sounds like an excerpt from I Was a Teenage Mother... Wink

Seriously, that must be rough. This receptionist two jobs back had a six-year old kid, and she was 21... Yikes. Sweat

Could that be the plot of a movie/show that was airing while you were sleeping? You know, the mind/senses are active during certain times at sleep. I forgot if it was during Rapid Eye Movement.

Nah, it's recurring and just about exactly the same each time. Pretty much it was the typical story of so many girls I knew in high school though....but turned around on me...I was suddenly in those shoes.

Lately, I can't seem to recall any of my dreams. Been like this for the past two months or so.
Prior to this, I could always recall at least one or two different dreams from the night before.
Maybe this is a product of something?

Hmmm... you know... I actually might type up a dream of mine. And no, not the kind that comes down on top of you when you're asleep. But... it will be cheesy, trivial... pure kitsch... sad, no?

I think I posted in here already, but, perverted dreams aside.....I don't always dream or at least remember them. Good ones end early and I can't finish 'em Sweat When I dream, it's always something STRANGE and usually something familiar is in it.

Some odd random things about my past dreams:

*Sometimes when I dream, I'm in the dream and suddenly am not involved anymore, but I'm above watching the goings-on Crazy

That's interesting. Im always in my body where I can only see my arms/ hands regular everyday perspective. Unless Ive been killed. Then I drift away and look back at the body. Very detached. Guess that old wives' tale about dying in your dreams isn't true. Or am I dead without knowing it!!

Wow!! Youre soo lucky. If I even get a kiss Im lucky. Usually if Im with some hot guy when Im dreaming (always someone I think is super hot) I get stressed suddenly, move away a bit then BANG Bang Head my husband appears, Whats up with that? argh!
Fidelity even when asleep....Shameful Cry Shameful Cry Shameful Cry

Sigh...... not even in my dreams............Shake Head

Usually though I dream I am at a swank hotel with great service! Mr Green

I'm dreaming about being surrounded by ice because I'm sweating to death right now. It's so hot in my room even with two windows opened and two fans going and I'm still feeling stuffed. Beat You

Dreams from the REM stage of sleeping are... usually weird with me... too bad I lost most of those I typed up, but... I still have two. The rest was sadly lost when Ezboard got hacked royally.

Setting Tokyo, or something like that... It was somewhere in Japan.

Part 1) some sort of HUGE skyscraper. There was a girl, either Aki Maeda or Chiaki Kuriyama, or somebody looking like both of them. She had a striking similarity with both. She was... sorta living in that building, wore a grey uniform style cloth. It was a somewhat... godzilla style atmosphere. The building was huge, largest building I've ever seen. And she was balancing on one of those rails on a balcony, but that balcony was somehow in the staircase. Shouldn't even be there. And she went on about how this was the highest building in the town, if not on earth. After some time her clothing style changed to somewhat normal. Guess it was her freetime or something.

Part 2) in part two she took me down to the beach (I think) to a house where her parents(???) lived. Least I think they were her parents, because she seemed to go in and out there as if they were relatives. It was a large family, but the whole situation was kinda dirty. And then I lived with them and always carried my bokken, the one that was broken. Then the grandmother one day wanted to clean the bokken (???) and after some time she was gone and the bokken still there, and the bokken was actually broken. So after some time I wanted to ask the granduncle or grandfather about 2 things. I told him my bokken was broken and he went like gWHAT?!g and started to search for one for me. There was a guy who resembled the Bald Guy from Kill Bill around too, he helped as well. There were tons of them. I got a black one from him.

And then it went weird. Night came and I never got a chance to ask the 2nd thing I wanted to ask, namely why they were barricading the door by night. Night passed and right in the morning I went outside, that was when the mother (???) tried to hold me back. Did I care? Na.

Note: the girl from the beginning was around there too all the time, but not at that point.

So I went out and there was this blue-white-yellow huge ant-line thing sorta gnawing on the house or whatever it did. Then I heard the "mother" go "the ??? dune eater!". What did I do? I went for the bokken and charged, got around it, climbed on its back (not too hard, since there were ropes and sails on it???) and sat down on its neck. Then I started beating and kicking it with the bokken and my feet. Then it held down my feet and I suddenly changed from the black bokken to my old one, the brown, broken one and nailed a pair of that thing's hands together with it. That was when it was already heading out at sea. So it went into the water and started to dive with me on its back. Then its hands (it actually had hands) turned black-grey and it dove down with me. I remember I held my air and continued to hit it, but then I took a deep breath, saw something that looked like godzilla's eyes and had to let go.

I think I was saved by the Bald Guy, but I'm not sure. I woke up shortly after those eyes.

And the other one...

There was this huge skating area, with a large indoor and an even bigger outdoor area, worth several icehockey fields of size. There was some sort of research/whatever facility nearby, and one of the entrances was right through the concrete corridors of the skating thing (which could have been a military base in the past, from the way the concrete looked.

It was winter, and I was there obviously wanting to skate, together with a bunch of females who all looked somewhat familiar. That area was well visited by tons of people. In the end most people left and we got to skate lol.

Well, then there was Kuriyama Chiaki in this group. The funny thing was, there was a way to read websites just like newspapers. I read on one that CK was about to marry, yet she was with us and was somewhat fooling around with me going on "was that all just a joke of you?"

Buuut... I had to go and left her with the others, then I made my way downstairs, read a newspaper and started BSing around with one of the people from that other facility. He was some security chief or whatever, and I told him, while I was folding a newspaper (you know, those large ones, like the Times, etc) "I wish someone would make a newspaper that folds itself"

So we went down and bullshitted a bit more, till we came to that entrance. We went in and he told that nut behind the armoured gate that security chief whatever his name was and Larner were here. Seemed he prolly believed I worked there, since I think I had an ID on my clothes
Now the funny part was, I was armed... with a softair gun. And while that guy and the guy at that desk BSed around I put the newspaper into my clothes and pulled the gun and took that security chief as hostage. I took his gun and tossed him mine, he tried to shoot me, click. Then I shot him and the entrance guy, took their guns and made my way into the facility.

So well... lol... I ran around the facility killed a few people, mainly some higher up nuts and those who tried to stop me. Looked a bit like the SGC. Then there were some sort of patients who begged me not to kill them. I told them to fuck off and killed a few more guards or whatever they were. then I got into the heart of the base and well, killed some old guy who had a very young wife, who seemed to work for my side. We should have gotten picked up, but the transport didn't come, so we had to find another way, then I woke up lol

It was like Splinter Cell meets Half Life and Hitman. With Kuiryama as special guest (and she was quite... well... naughty; She was hugging me, snuggling up, whining whether I just joked with her, yet she was the one to get hooked up permanently according to those newspapers).

I remember another one, where Kayoko (yub, the one from Ju-on) was after Chiaki, who tried to escape first, then saw no other way out and committed suicidee and was then trapped in Kayoko's dimension. I had to go for the rescue. I forgot how I got in that dimension.

overall... weeeeeired I tell you Crazy Nut

As for the dream that could be considered a daydream... well... *coughs* it's quite simple. To find her, look into her eyes and realize it would have been her. (You know, along the line of Sam in Return of the King "if I would have ever married, it would have been her!") I'd say that sums it up.
