And yeah, bummer that there are no subs. |
Hmm, for a while it had no subs down here either, then all of a sudden poof! Subs....
Maybe the same'll happen up there for you guys...

Well, I'll stick with it for a while, in hopes of subs. (Not to mention Ryoko's appearance.)
But as far as the food goes...

There were some episodes I think you could appreciate, Geez: prime rib, barbeque ribs, steak, burgers...

Now that's food. |
Heh.

You might be right: I've exceeded one DVDR already after Betsy-chan sent me that 45-minute NHK interview (no subs, but who cares)...
I might have to change my compression settings to jam everything onto one disc...

Don't be ridiculous!
If it takes two discs, or three discs, or nine discs to make it perfect... make it freakin' perfect! |
Well, that, I can assure you.

Fuji Tv hopefully has something big planned after Number One. Lets hope! Maybe Churasan 2?

Whatever " Number 1" is, it'll replace the Ikagami Police station show.
Wakabe, the NHK Morning drama will be with us for about a year. It's a long one.
The only guy I recognized in the add for "Number 1" was Nishimura Masahiko. So hopefully, whatever it is, it'll be funny.
From the add, it seems "Number 1" will run on:
February 19th
February 26th
March 5th
How much you wanna bet that with our luck, on March 12th, they start running Ikagami Station #4. _________________ Manga is to Literature

#4? Oh yeah.
http://jdorama.com/drama.836.htm
Only in #4, there's no Maho Nonami and no Rina Chinen.
I hope I"m wrong, but so far they've been pretty dedicated to that show. They've shown all of the first 3. _________________ Manga is to Literature

Would be cool to see #4, I happen to enjoy Kochira hon Ikegami, Im a sucker for those kinda cheezy solve the crime type of shows. Hey it could be worse, fuji could've aired Tomb of the Wild Chrysanthemum again.

ap,
I hope you're right. I've alwys enjoyed the kinpachi sensei series.
And one of the shorter Churasan series would be cool too. I liked the show... but it just went on too long for me.
As for people liking the "kochira hon ikegami" series... hey, each to their own.
My real problem with it is that usually when I don't care for a series, all I have to do is hold on for a while and it will go away. Most series are only 10 to 12 episodes long.
But this is a case where I didn't like a series, and then they brought it back. And then they brought it back again. _________________ Manga is to Literature
