I tried sending a PM to someone and I kept getting this error...

Ran into problems sending Mail. Response: 502 unimplemented (#5.5.1)

Is this related to the email server thing?

More specifically, this is an SMTP server error message. More likely the PM is getting to the person, however the e-mail alerting the recipient of the new e-mail isn't being sent. That's why you're seeing the error. So hopefully that PM recipient will keep checking him PM Inbox for new messages (or even notice that "New" indicator on the top right corner).

Maybe this will shed more light on the problem... "5.5.1" is a SMTP error message inidicating that the SMTP server does not allow relaying of messages. In laymen's terms, "relaying" on a mail server would have allowed an external sender to send messages to an external recipient. By disabling relaying, only internal senders are allowed to send e-mail through the mail server.

If JDorama is experiencing relaying problems like this, it's quite possible that the SMTP server was relocated or changed, which in either case the server no longer considers JDorama.com to be an internal sender.

Another possibility is that the domain name for JDorama.com in the DNS does not correctly check out via a reverse IP lookup, which most e-mail servers now do (this practice curbs down spamming from fake/spoofed e-mail addresses). If the SMTP server receives an e-mail from JDorama and can't reverse-IP lookup, or it can reverse-IP lookup but the two don't match, then you'll get that 5.5.1 error message.

In otherwords, I think Host Department's DNS and/or their e-mail servers are flaking out AGAIN!!!!

Why don't you go and register? It's fun.

Just the other day, they had a new user who posted 78 posts and 10 pages in a thread upon his first day of registering. Freaking troll. They dealt with him though. But I missed it. DAMMIT!!
