I thought when written in hiragana, it's with the (n) character, but it's pronounced (m) when next to certain sounds, like the (ba) . Aho?? Kokou? Yume? Tasukette kudasai.

Yeah...the (n) syllable changes to an (m) sound before (b), and other consonants like (p). Heh...learned that more from my linguistics class than my Japanese studies.... hehe

i think you can use either M or N when writing it out in romaji. There's so many ways to romanize, so you can choose either way.
When you say ganbatte or gambatte, its an M sound though. So, in writing it doesn't really matter. Victory! Peace! Just remember that rule for speaking. hehe

Oh, and don't forget to start that thread. You never know who is also interested in Katsuragi. You might spark an interest now that Yoshitsune is in full force.

Guess what dochira, special MAN that you are...I started the Ozawa Yukiyoshi thread today in the Artistes forum. Thanks for your suggestion.

Enna runs off singing to dochira and bmwracer...." What a man, what a man, what a man....What a mighty good man." Applaud Big Grin

True.

True.

But I didn't discover Ryoko until episode 3... hehe The main story of Musashi is what had me interested from the get-go... Big Grin

As far as Yoshitsune is concerned, it's because I'm pretty unfamiliar with the story... I know Musashi all too well...

That's true. I, too, am unfamiliar with Yoshitsune. Somehow I'm starting to get into the historical dramas. I'm in the process of getting Musashi from BT. But of course, it is currently behind a number of things I need to see.

You know, if I built a queue of dramas/movies that I should watch and posted it to a webpage, it would be shocking. The only reason that I am sort of caught up with Yoshitsune is that they are currently airing it. If left to me, it would be stuck at the end of the queue. Beaten

I know how you feel: everytime they air the Ten Commandments, I always seem to watch it, even though I have the DVD... Bonk

Well...Yoshitsune has sucked me in, probably because I like the history...fall of the Fujiwara and the Court, brief spat, rise of the Kamakura shogunate. They seem to have gone for more of a "legendary" or "legend" feel to it though. From reading history...it's hard to imagine Yoritomo being a nice guy hehe.
