If you could buy a snowboard with a custom-made image in the board, who's image would you want on the board (Actresses/Actors/Musicians)?

Am curious what people would want.

Snowboard? What the heck's that??? No snow where I live.

Now putting a girl on a GUITAR... That would be something! I never had a girl's face stuck on mine, but it came pretty damn close to it... In the late 1980's to early 1990's, I was playing mostly speed metal (Metallica, Slayer, etc.) on a customized white Fender Strat guitar. On the fingerboard of the guitar, I had Sakai Noriko's name "����@�q" etched on it. And on the lower part of the guitar's body, I had a decal of her little pink friend (the critter with the antennas she loves drawing to this day) stuck on it. I don't think anyone out there figured out what either one of those elements meant, though I had dozens of people query about them.

Well then it shouldn't be a poll at all... He just shoulda posed the question... But it's also just like saying "who's your favorite artiste?" And that's been beat into the ground, neh?

But what if he doesn't like, for example, your favorite gal? God forbid... If Ryoko received the most number of votes, then he would be stuck with putting her face on his snowboard. By allowing him to post only girls that HE likes, he won't be stuck with someone he doesn't like. That's the logic behind using polls versus just a plain nominee system like you're suggesting.

Well then his wording of the question should be different: "Of these four choices, who would you want on a snowboard?"

The way he worded it, it's a free-for-all...

I'm with groink on this one; what if the guy just wanted to see what other folks thought about the four to which he limited his choices? Nothing wrong with that. And if someone DOES have a problem with that, s/he should just ignore the poll if it bothers them so much.

The "polls" function is here to use, not just to know it's there.
