Oh, I use HJ Split and the video works fine and subtitles and everything. The video just skips every 2 seconds and it's really annoying.

A group of Japanese content providers has been successful in getting YouTube to remove some 29,549 clips that it claimed were posted without permission, it said Friday. The Japan Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers represents 23 media companies in the country. The group is also calling on the video sharing site to better screen what its users are posting.

Johnny's and Youtube.
I was watching CNN earlier and there was one segment which went: "Youtube has had to remove 30,000 videos from their website at the request of a Japanese entertainment company which is to remain unnamed." And I was like "Crap, that sounds like something Johnny's would do."

So it basically went on to say that Youtube was dealing with copyright infringement problems, and that they could possibly get into some legal turmoil.

So I just checked Youtube and half of my favourites (mostly Kat-tun perfs) are gone. Also, searching "kat-tun real face" wields MUCH fewer results than it used to. D: So I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that it was Johnny's that did this...?

Damn that Johnny. First he kicks out Uchi, Kusano, and possibly Jin, then he gets all angry about people enjoying JE videos on youtube. I'll go check...omg I have like 60 KAT-TUN videos. >_<

Oh no they just did not delete my Le Ciel. =O (I still have Real Face) Yeah, Le Ciel is the only one gone out of 51 favorites. Either I chose some good videos to save or Johnny sucks at suing. =P

how does copyright infringement or patents work on international ground? didn't think that applied globally. *sigh* youtube was a great source...

yeah! i totally agree. it brought so much convenience to us fans. since we dont have the money to purchase ever single product of theirs. and considering the fact that we live sooo far from japan and the only way to get close to it is thru videos uploaded by fans. youtube was and still is a fantastic source!
