when you want to quote somebody use the button on the upper right hand corner of the post you want to quote
or you can do it manually be placing the text you want to quote like so:

Alrighty, question: Does anyone know if Jin has left Japan or not? Because I read on some other forums people saying they heart rumors of him spotted in LA, and pictures of him at a Halloween party in NY wearing a Pikachu costume.
