Anyone here into Tokusatsu? Shows like Kamen Rider, Super Sentai (The Japanese show that was butcherd to create Power Rangers) and Ultraman etc.? Not many people have heard of them, exept for Ultraman, so I was wondering.

I enjoy watching Kamen Rider, though I haven't gotten to watch the last couple of series yet. The only Ultraman series I've watched are Ultra 7 and Ultraman Tiga (cuz of Nagano Hiroshi!)

"Kidou Keiji Jiban" was one of my favorite tokusatsu series. It's a pity Toei canceled the Metal Heroes to concentrate on Kamen Rider.

I liked Akumaizer 3. Tokusatsu's first anti-heroes; kind of their answer to a "Three Musketeers," too (Dumas' three musketeers; not the candy). Flying around in that pirate ship, kickin' bootay. One of the members was named "Evil"; how controversial is that, among Japanese super hero shows?

And all three members spoiler ahead DIE at the very end.

Hey, I think for one of the upcoming, inevitable "Rider" series, they should call it "Kamen Rider V6" and have six Kamen Riders in ONE show and have the . . . members of the V6 star . . . in . . . the featured . . . roles . . . OK, sorry, sorry.

Or BETTER yet, how 'bout the next Kamen Rider series be "Kamen RiderBMW" and have BMWRacer and Yonekura star in it? How does that sound?

Sweat WHOOT..I'm so late for this Sentai Party.. Beaten Yeah, I like Ultraman Tiga (er...Rinrin you know the reason why right?) and Kamen Rider Kuuga..for another obvious reason..and now Kamen Rider Ryuuki..

Ok, I actually like to watch Sentai since I was small, i.e Sharivan, Gavan, Goggle 5, Dynaman, Megaloman..etc..even Message from Space the Star War spoof er..more or less, starring Hiroyuki Sanada.

Ooops!

Your memory serves you well, old friend.

I'll send you the theme songs next time you're on chat.

I am currently watching episodes of the original (#1/#2) Kamen Rider series, circa 1971-1973, featuring Fujioka Hiroshi as Hongo Takeshi (#1) and Sasaki Takeshi as Ichimonji Hayato (#2).

Kamen Rider V3 begins tonight on cable TV in Hawaii but kids better learn that V3 wasn't the first "bug man" on the scene.

Oh yeah, I watch some of the old tokusatsu stuffs (references on request).
