True. Although the Chiefs don't usually put up a lot of points.... and the Broncos win, 27-17.
Also, Seahawks now 10-1. Bring on the Saints!
If I were the Broncos, I'd be really worried about keeping Peyton Manning functionable. He had a decent game, but he didn't look good on a number of his passes; the ankle is clearly bothering him.
The Broncos and Chiefs play again in a couple of weeks, this time in Arrowhead. The Chiefs need to find a way to pressure Manning from the inside rather than from the edges; the problem is their two best pass rushers play perimeter positions. If they can get pressure in Manning's face and do so without having to play so much man coverage, they should beat the Broncos in the rematch on their home turf.
Re: Seattle and New Orleans
Whoever secures home field advantage throughout the playoffs will be the heavy favorite to win the NFC.
Of course, if the Falcons beat the Saints on Thursday night, the Seahawks are just about guaranteed.
Go Falcons! (wishful thinking, I know).
The Falcons have crashed and burned this season... I've always thought they were overrated.
I don't know what's happened to the Niners... Colin Kaepernick hasn't been the QB savior they thought he'd be... Alex Smith must be having a chuckle right now.

Opposing DC's are scheming to take away his running ability, and he's not very composed in the pocket. He's got a good arm but to be fair has been missing his favorite targets. The Hawks showed how to shut him down, and other teams are following suit if they can.
I would have been pretty pissed if I was Alex Smith last year, but it's turned out great for him. Shame it won't get him to the Superbowl.
Arizona schools did great: UA destroys Oregon, revealing the Ducks to be overrated; ASU beats UCLA, clinching the Pac 12 South Division.
Oklahoma State's total annihilation of previously undefeated Baylor was impressive as well as surprising. To hold the #1 offense in the country (the Bears were averaging 61 points per game) to three points through three quarters was pretty awesome.
For the second year in a row LSU makes Johnny Manziel look mediocre.
Duke wins again. David Cutcliffe should be coach of the year.
In the NFL, Kansas City loses its second consecutive game--this time against the Chargers--and their once vaunted defense looks terrible two weeks in a row.
The Patriots spot the Broncos a 24--0 lead, then come back to beat Denver in overtime. And they did so starting four rookies on defense and a lot of no-names on offense.
Carolina wins its seventh straight game. Tampa Bay and Jacksonville both win . . . again. Arizona is now 7--4. WTF
In other news, another Seattle Seahawks player is suspended for violating the NFL's drug policy . . . SOS
