v̎蒠@kurokawa no techou Literally translates to "black leather notebook" as far as i can tell kuro being black, kawa being leather, and techou being notebook.
Thats my translation for it anyway. If it's wrong someone please correct me
In Bewitched in Tokyo, Arisa (Ryoko) had to leave her husband, Jyoji, with her daughter for some reason... No English subs, so that's all I could interpret from the video itself... KouSeiya's seen all of it I think, so she could elaborate...

Translation, kudasai:
Like Rinrin said, she plundered money from a bank. She runs away and the bank wants their money back. Paying in increments would suffice. So she does. She comes across this little black book with a ton of money. (It's dirty money. The kind with no paper trail). She pays back the bank and then opens up a small bar with the money.
That's as far as I got. I'll finish the rest tonite. Gotta get back to work. _________________

Oops! I had no idea that was the same text the imoto-chan was translating... Gomen.
The Babelfish translator was able to translate it, but it was very confusing....
What I don't get about this site and other j-drama sites is that some of the text is in English... If that's the case, why not offer an English version of the site for us crazed j-drama fans???

The thing is that Japan drama industry doesn't really care about gaijins being interested in Japanese dramas. Translating the synopsis into English text priority wise just comes second to none. That's why Korean dramas are really picking up in America now. They bring in the new stuff right away where the Japanese side couldn't care less. Oh, and not to mention that Korea/Korean (dramas, food, and whatnot) is a FRIGGIN' HUGE BOOM in Japan now. _________________

That's prety lame considering that they must realize there's a vast (and growing) market here for j-dramas... Pretty short-sided for them to ignore us, if you ask me... I think someone could make some big money if they stepped to the fore and got this stuff subbed and imported into the U.S....
Miramax has sorta done this with Miyazaki Hayao's stuff, but they're still under Disney/Buena Vista's watchful eye Criterion has also done this with a large majority of foreign films, but they're a relatively small outfit and couldn't possibly handle the large stream of dramas be made in Japan......
