Media player classic will play rmvb files with softsubs
Hi ya!
I do have media player classic and I still keep seeing the chinese subtitles. The soft subs come in .smi format, so I'm not sure if that's where the problem is.

open up window media classic, go to file, open file, select the file, select
the sub file and voila, asta la vista!!
(if the rmvb source is hardsubbed with chinese subtitles then you can't
get rid of it and both files have to be the same length eg video source 50mins, sub file 50mins)
The winners of the 48th Television Drama Academy Awards have already been revealed. The pair starring in Byakuyakou - Yamada Takayuki and Ayase Haruka are the big winners, successfully beating out other big productions like Saiyuuki and Rondo.
Considered to be the oscars of Television Awards, held by "The Television" Magazine, after votes from readers, reporters and judges, selected out last seasons winners. Byakuyakou steals the awards for Best Drama, successfully beating out Unfair in second place, Saiyuuki (4th), Rondo (5th).
Ayase Haruka considered best supporting actress
Even though the revelation of Yamada's child was exposed during the broadcasting of Byakuyakou, but it still got the majority of votes from readers, winning the Best Actor Award. After her marriage, Shinohara Ryoko, wins Best Actress, hitting down Choi Ji Woo in 2nd spot.
In the supporting Actor/Actress Catergory both go to Byakuyakou's, Takeda Tetsuya and Ayase Haruka respectively. Even though ratings for this drama only averaged 12.5%, it becomes the big winners taking in 4 awards. Other big production dramas Saiyuuki and Rondo only took in special effects award and best music respectively, which is quite atroxious!

Yay! Congratulations to both Yamada and Ayase! I've only seen episode 1 of Byaku and I don't think I've cried for a show like that in a while. Gosh, those kid actors should get awards too!
Thanks for the articles, yt! And pictures to go with it. Not a really great pic of Yamada though, but ah well, he's yummy in whatever he dresses in.
Ah and as for the instructions you gave regarding the 'Fire boys' files, unfortunately, they still didn't work. The Chinese hard subs are still there, so I guess I'll have to wait until I can download the raws.
EDIT: This is going to be a wild stab in the dark, but does anyone know if Densha Otoko (the movie) was subbed by anyone?? After hearing all the cool things about it, I'm now more curious than ever to see it. ^_^
