Hi I've been watching this new drama, starring Fujiki Naohito (Love Revolution, Antique), and Mizuno Miki (Beautiful Life), called "Hatsu Taiken". I'm really enjoying it and am hoping that someone might have done a synopsis for it.

Thanks!

Hi Namielove,

Probably u can try http://p2322.nsk.ne.jp/~momosuke/nao/english/
to get the sypnosis. But it's not updated on a regular basis. Expect some typo and grammatical errors.

I haven't got the VCD yet. I'm able to rent episodes at a Japanese video store in my area. I think the the drama will be ending in Japan very soon. This drama is really wonderful, so I would reccommend that you buy if you like comedy. There is a little romance in there as well. ( ^ _ ^ ) Fujiki is very alluring in this drama, his eyes speak more than he does, and Mizuno Miki is very funny, as well as beautiful. You may become her fan after watching this.

Has anyone watched the new drama by Naohito Fujiki and Miki Mizuno? It's really good. Nao won an award for Best Supporting Actor (don't ask me why it's not Lead Actor instd). It has the romantic element, like Love Revolution. The best part of the show is at the beginning of the show, Nao is a bum, who has no ambition and no sense of responsibility. Even forgot to go to work sometimes. As usual, his role calls for a "devil may care" attitude but in reality, he's very caring and soft-hearted. But later on, he changed because of Machi.

As usual, he looks really "shuai" in the show. Sigh!! Miki is good in the role of a shy vet who has a huge crush on him (even from school days).

So far I've only heard good reviews about the show.

Hi

I have seen the drama. Its quite good. It was filmed in Yokohama kind of different from the others that are usually filmed in Tokyo. For those of you who enjoy watching romantic comedies, go check it out.

I wouldn't be surprise if Fujiki considered as a supporting actor here. Don't you realize that he show up not too much in this dorama? It's like...ALL about Machi...I think the story is pretty much about Machi's life. Takumi Hirota/Fusano, is just a supporting character, who coincidentally become her soulmate. The story is not about Takumi & Machi. But, ONLY Machi ^_^

Hatsu Taiken is pretty good!! I love the violin backgrounds. And, oh, how I love the opening song!! It's in French! Can anyone tell me where can I get the lyrics? The title and the singer of the song??O_o
I love Miki Mizuno here! Like always, she's soooo funny and cute!!^__^

But, the story is slow-paced. And, I don't really like the ending...not satisfied, precisely^^

I'm watching Hatsu Taiken now (only watched 2 eps for now), and I hardly see Fujiki Naohito appearing??? Although he got ALOT more popular because of Love Revolution, he still gets roles in which he is a supporting actor??? His new dorama is about nurses and from the looks of it he AGAIN is a supporting actor in it (playing the husband of the main character who is a disastrous nurse). What gives?? The guy who played Yabuki in Love Revolution quickly gets a main role after Love Rev (he plays in Haru Ranman), but Fujiki Naohito still gets supporting actor roles??? I see in many mags that Naohito won alot of "best looking male" polls in mags and such, surely his popularity should guarantuee him better roles?

Hmm...perhaps, his acting is not up to standard to get a leading role?

okey...... Mitsuhiro Oikawa whom I think should be quite popular in Japan, doesn't get leading roles too. Of course, he is considered more as a singer than actor.....anyway, I think one do not have to be the lead to be outstanding. Fujiki Naohito is fairly good in LR and I believe he would have his fair chance someday...

Finished watching this drama... boring with only a few nice moments. Nothing special about the storyline, it's very cliche but that's not bad. What IS bad about it is the execution of a cliche storyline: it's executed badly. All in all I can only give this series a 4 or a 5. I regret purchasing this one.
