Hotman this past sunday. Not sure what episode it was but let's see if I can summarize.

Enzo pulls Nanami out of the hospital after he sees some kids teasing her saying she looks like a mummy with all that bandage on her Sad

The mystery of who is Nanami's mom is still a mystery. Yukimi (Enzo's ex GF) tells Enzo that she was indeed pregnant but had a miscarriage so she is not Nanami's mother. Enzo repeats this to Yukimi's current BF.

Shima moved out with her fiance but then they had an argument so she left for awhile but when she came back...her fiance had all her stuff packed up and told her to get out. Sad

The twin boys are now in a love triangle or rectangle. Let's see...the one guy friend of the twin with the glasses likes this girl but the girl likes the twin without the glasses. Now the twin with the glasses also likes this girl. What a circus! Crazy

Akiko Yada (Misuzu?) is starting to like Enzo more and more. She was there when she found out that Yukimi is not the mother of Nanami. Misuzu stops by to drop off some food to see Enzo. But Enzo is not home. Only Nanami and the twin with the glasses is home. The girl who he likes calls and says the guy friend who likes her is bugging her and she wants him to stop by. Misuzu encourages him to profess his love to her. So he takes off after putting the food on the stove to cook.

Misuzu and Nanami start to play hide and seek. But a towel falls off and lands on the stove. Fire starts. Misuzu sees it but can't find Nanami. She's calling desperately trying to find her.

Fire starts getting bigger and bigger. Misuzu finds Nanami but they are now trapped. Enzo is coming back from Yukimi's place and he sees the house on fire. He rushes past the firemen and he sees Misuzu and Nanami trapped.

To be continued.

Anyone going to watch this program? I'll probably tape it...

Dec. 31, 2003 8:30pm - 11:30pm
UTBfs 2003 Year End Special Program is gThe Song of a Sugar Cane Fieldh. The drama is based upon a family which continues to uphold its life and hopes as World War II comes to an end in Okinawa. 58 Years have passed since World War II. Do we really have the kind of world this family dreamed about?

Starring: Sanma Akashiya, Yukie Nakama, Hitomi Kuroki, Jo Odagiri, Kenji Sakaguchi, Ryoko Moriyama

In Hawaii, it's called "Song of the Canefields". It airs here January 2 7:00pm to 10:00pm HST.

What did this family dream about? I want to watch it but I have plans tonight.

I'm debating on whether I should record this.

Spoiling a huge part of the movie in one sentence =\. Try to edit it out for the people that didn't see it.

The movie was great, I'm so glad I saw it. Had a family get together today, and I don't like getting together with family, so I was just in a different room watching this. I really wish I got it on tape. Ah well. And that theme song was beautiful. But they only gave the title in english at the end, and now I'm having trouble finding it, but I will as I simply must have it.

Its a really good movie. Some people may find it kind of simple, I dunno, but that father is a great character. Nicely done all around.

Nice mini-review. Now I've gotta find some time to watch it.
