I've gotta go with the Cinderella team, the ChiSox.

Never ever liked any of the current NL teams, aside from the Padres, who appear to be going the way of the BoSox...

I think I've explained why I don't want any of the teams to win. I can see why the WS would make a great story (last win was in 1917??), but should they win, then the Giants would be one of the teams with the longest Series drought. Puppy Dog Eyes

Wow! You guys really know your baseball history. I'm impressed! Applaud

Supposed to have thunderstorms in NYC today. Lets hope the game gets rained out so the Bronx Boyz can rest up and get their circadians rhythms back in sync. Sweat Victory! Peace!

Happy Saturday everybody! Hopefully, by the end of the day the hated Yankees will have been eliminated. Another Yogism: "You can observe a lot just by watching." Victory! Peace!

Me too partially. Game 4 is going to cut into my Desperate Housewives watching time. Grumble Sweat

Last night on the news they said that Game 4 starts at 7:55 PM EDT. Another channel said 8:15 PM EDT on this morning's news. Make up your minds, already!!!! Bonk Big Grin

PS. They are going to have specialized and extra security at tonight's game due to NYC's recent subway terrorists threats. The threats were for this particular weekend. Sweat

Enna, you should consider getting a DVR (digital video recorder) that will allow you to record one show while watching another. Or get a second TV from someone you know and have both at the same time. hehe

And the time shifting?? Blame it on the TV networks. Having a rainout turns the already precarious schedule into a pile of doodoo.

It rained earlier today. It looks like the rain should hold up for tonight's Game 4. Sweat

Yes good idea dochira. I have a 2nd and a 3rd TV. Not all hooked up to cable at the moment. And yes I do still have a VCR. Heck I just recently got a DVD player. I need to get a few indoor antenna 'cus I refuse to pay for extra cable hook ups and I don't feel like 'borrowing' cable for my other TVs. It is not that I am techno challenged so much as techno lazy!!!! ashamed

So true bmw about the TV time shifting due to the rain. It messes thing up for them. Grumble

So isn't anyone gonna mention the Houston Astros beat the Atlanta Braves finally in the 18th inning with a score of 7-6???? Thumbsup
