I went to the Dodger game on Tuesday. I saw the Milton Bradley incident. We left pretty much after that with the Dodgers trailing 4-0. They ended up winning. Ha ha

At this point, every game is a must win...

All the Dodgers have to do is win two of their final four games regardless of what SF does... They're in control of their destiny, as they say.

DON'T SCREW UP YOU BUMS!!!!!!! Beat You

Me too! Were you and I the only two Socal residents who didn't like it when the Angels won the series a few years back?

Possibly. But I didn't like the Giants (particularly Bonds) either, so it was a lose-lose for me...

That figures.

I don't hate the Yanks as much as I used to (70's/80's: Reggie Jackson bleh ), 'cause I like A-Rod, Jeter, and Bernie... They're great players...

The Dodgers? Mixed emotions really. Ever since the Piazza trade, I've been leery and disappointed... This year's a surprise, but I'm not expecting a whole lot.... Keeps my feet on the ground.

I grew up as a Dodger fan...but haven't been a Dodger fan for 10-15 years now. They have no loyalty.

Yeah, 1988 was one of those special years, like '69 for the Mets: everything just fell into place... I can remember vividly what I was doing when Gibby hit that homer against Eckersley... I totally lost it... hehe

I'm sure there are... A guy I knew two companies ago was a BoSox fan: he had an aerial view of Fenway on his wall.... And he loved Ted Williams.

Looks like someone has the dubious distinction of breaking Bobby Bonds long standing record for strikeouts in a single season:
http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news;_ylc=X3oDMTBpcDBuM2RlBF9TAzk1ODYxNzc3BHNlYwN0aA--?slug=ap-reds-dunn-strikeoutrecord&prov=ap

At least this fellow that broke the record is having an excellent year in terms of power numbers and run production.

Bow 102 Runs scored
Bow 101 RBI
Bow 45 Home Runs
Applaud 0.389 On Base %

Play Ball!

Yea Adam Dunn! He won it for the Reds too! Now the Cubbies gotta play the Braves Applaud

Was watching sports center and 2 commentators were talking about who they think will win the NL wild card and one said Houston, the other said the Cubs. And I'm sitting there thinking, wtf?!!? Why doesn't anyone give the Giants any credit? They made it into the post season 2 straight years and are still the defending NL West champs. Man, I really hope they make it just to prove the baseball world wrong Mad
