Furigana (‚ӂ肪‚È), also called yomigana, are kana printed next to a kanji or other character to indicate its pronunciation. In horizontal text, they are above the character; in vertical text, they are to the right of the character. - Wikipedia -

"Furigana Injector" on the Firefox Addons site,
which also needs an XHTML ruby plugin also available at the same site.

I use this myself for being able to convert all kanji pictographs into
hiragana which I can at least read :)

Makes translating things happen a bit quicker for me at least,
since I have a better idea where in the jisho(JP->EN+JP->JP) to look.

Take things like this with a grain of salt, though.
The readings of strings of kanji (or even those in isolation) can vary greatly.

One example:

‘ål‹C can be read as either [‚¾‚¢‚É‚ñ‚«] or [‚¨‚ƂȂ°], and they have very different meanings that aren't even related. :D
