Well, except MBMH, I don't like every single drama this summer. Not a single one, they are so shallow, so hard to watch (especially Regatta...).

Well, not so many people watching their TV lately in Japan. =D

My Boss my hero is doing well it's the best jdorama, i think for this season

Cuz it's probably hotter than a sumo wrestler's a$$ crack and there are a million more enjoyable things to do in the summer like attend various matsuri or get freaky with the opposite sex

wow, 4.5% for Regatta? That's really low -_____-; I don't think it's that bad, but it does get very generic and boring, even the good looking guys can't save this show. However, the ratings do speak some truth, it's time for the scriptwriters to start getting serious and writing more entertaining drama again. I only enjoy MBMH this season *sighs*...

from the looks of it, i think i'll probably only be watching MBMH and Kekkon Dekinai Otoko for this season

I'm watching both of those dramas, and I must say that those two are the ones that have by far surpassed my expectations. Taiyou no Uta is not bad either, but it doesn't hold the appeal of either MBMH or Kekkon Dekinai Otoko. I guess summer just isn't the right time to air a drama where the main character is doomed to die.
That's just my opinion, however.

Hmm well, winter wouldnt be the right time to air a drama where the main character cannot stand the sun. Or when the same character performs in the middle of the night. Couldnt really do it in winter
